Thread: Master Powers/Sabers 0400/Healer 4000/Def 0040/Enh 3004
i like my MPowers/enh xxx3/healer 4xxx/TKM hehehe, (Fist o the Force)
but i may change to MLS/MP/healer 4x4x later
well see i think the key to this template will be control and speed really. and it seems to have good potential burst damage, with armorbreak, headhit, powerattack, choke, and whatnot. thing is i dont know if this post will change my buds thoughts lol, hes says hes gonna respec when he gets his comp fixed, but still hes gonna run into any major road blocks with this temp i need to tell him, might be able to convince him.

my friend has that exact temp and he hates it, he is retemping as we speek, powers really is a joke, i personally would avoid powers at all costs. he is a full temp jedi cl 80, and he got killed by a juvinile krayt dragon! ouch!
LMAO if thats the case, to the batmobile!!! err i meant telephone, ya know to call my friend lol. hed be extremely pissed to waste a respec.
before i do though, you sure your friend just doesnt know how to use it? i find it hard to imagine loosing to a krayt (especially a juvy), with suppression/wave/choke/ab/aura/headhit/powerattack. i mean i could see any jedi temp witha good saber, 0400 sabers,2001 enh, 4000 healer, and 0040 defender (and all those skills are included in the temp i first listed). lol i know, not even full temp, but seriously how do you loose with a move that gives you +500 defense, a root, a snare, armorbreak, 2 good damage attacks, and good healing?
so can you please elaborate as to why he lost? how did he pan his attacks and whatnot?
Master Powers is all about ranged attacks, and its not as powerful as MLS in melee combat. If you're getting hit a lot as MPowers you're doing something wrong imo.
im this exact temp...i used my respec from MLs/Mdef
and it was the worst mistake i ever made!!!!
if u r a friend u wont let him use his respec ![]()
i have a template that is very close to this, and i enjoy it a lot. as for the people who have posted saying that they hate that sort of template, they probably prefer the mls/mdef playstyle, which is just totally different than how you have to play a template such as the one you have listed. if you try to playthis template like a saber-tank, then yeah its not gonna work. but if you enjoy tactical play and controlling the opponent, then it can bea lot of fun.
i went with a powers/enh/ls/healer template because i think the mdef templates are boring. sure, they are effective most of the time, just not really that fun to play. at least i dont get as much of a thrill out of being able to just stand there and not take damage as i do out of having to control my opponent to avoid taking damage.
imo, powers templates are best suited to players who enjoy smuggler, carbineer, bh, pistoleer type styles of play more than the damage-dealer/tank templates.
