Thread: Are Tiggs & SOE MISLEADING us?
i dont have a problem with it really... i mean how many of us are actually enjoying the game as it is. not i!
Face it SOE needs new subscriptions and loosing a few vet players ang gaining all the poeple who left cause the grind was too long and all the new younger players who will get to be a jedi from the start... who really cares jedi is such a novelty atm anyway. its been a double bladed sword froms the start, if SOE never introduced jedi to SWG we would all be crying about it and now that they did everyones crying about jedi its loose loose all the way around..
Personally jedi is not the only thing i play ive got many other toons on other servers all different combat profs and frankly it wouldnt bother me none to see jedi as a novelty of the game just remove all the work involed and reward me with some perks for the time i put in to make a jedi.
So really i say this i had fun for a year and half without a jedi and the last year has sucked with a jedi id rather see an overall imporved game play mainly dump CL and have a system avail to solo play and if jedi gets lost or remains a novelty so be it.
Id rather have a fun game to play then have what ive had the last year building a jedi char just to be at a dead end so in a way jedi has ruined the game for me anyway.

Now, why would it be such a bad thing if SoE re-released the game as a boxed set for the holidays?I don't know about you guys, but SWG: The Total Experience isn't on any shelves around here anymore, and when it was it hit the 9.95 discount bin in a matter of weeks. I can see people being pissed if ToOW was included in that $19.95 price, but we have yet to see if that is the case. If this new, boxed set also included new and improved gameplay for low level charcters, I'd say that's a good thing because what "levels" 1-30 amount to now is boredom, tedium, and drudgery. (This is not to say the rest of the game isn't inflicted by these lovely qualities, but...)

I suspect the rumor we've been hearing is true and Jedi is on it's way to a starting profession.
i think the fact that its listed at walmart.com is more convincing that the other sites
agreed MX13 instead of keeping silence they should be alot more vocal about there great direction i mean the truth is you cant make everyone happy all the time but have us looking forward to something would mabey allow us to deal with these major changes. we could say hey i lost this part of the game but gained this part. who knows really i see all these cool screenies of SWG and on the TV add and say hey thats not the game i play??? lol
Face it i smell a major change coming once agian and mabey it will all make sense to us someday mabey we get the shaft mabey we dont but all i want is a fun game to play.. its kinda fun now depends what im in the mood for but nowhere near pre cu. the games kinda dying slowly i suspect some very dramatic changes for SOE to compete if all else fails for us vet players there seems to be alot of really good MMORPG's on the way.
Im too tired to fight,rant,whine and complain to a brick wall.. let whatever happens happen we cannot control it where along for the ride mabey julio knows what hes doing!! lol doubt it i dont think hes ever seen a star wars movie but oh well who knows we may be suprised cause in my opinion the game still being around this long after a crap system the CU going live and still having people play and pay including myself suprises me. after its all said and done theres still a slight chance for this game to great again but i will say this alot of people will be burned along the way...
