post cu jedi are a reg profession anyway. no more reward, why the risk?
forced pvp is a legacy of the pre cu system. it no longer serves a purpose. only sf jedi that WANT to pvp should be on the terms. as you guys point out, some of you want to pvp, good you still can. the ones that don't want to, should not have to.

I have to Agree. People talk but don't remember about the changes. I remember post cu jedi hit you few times with the saber and you are gone.

no way no more forced pvp. Thats it ive finally figured out why some people love force pvp so much, and its the same ones i see over and over in every post regarding this subject. No body wants to play with you so you want SOE to force us all to have to play with you. Im sorry you have no online friends either.And pre-cu sucked there was no tactics in it at all. Everyone that pvp had the exact same HAM bar with mind pushed out to the max and all uber doc buffed up all spamming basically the same mind hit over and over. It was brainless maybe thats why some of you really want it back so bad.

Id say ... I like the person Idea posted about SF Jedi go on terms.... and leave non SF off... simple answer easily implimented ...
in a game enviroment such as this ... any FORCED interaction is bad... and all this talk of risk/reward.... tell me what your reward is for killing a BH?
Tell me why if were so special M swords can out damage us...
Vader hunted Jedi.... if a NPC bad a$s vader occasionally spawned and killed me would I get mad.... NO!! that what vader did.... not 500 common place BH
I think player content should not be other player... especially forced on you.... do we not pay the same fee as all other profs? OK Ill accept this RISK if they give us a reward...right now there is none...no FRS .. no rank higher then padawan.... no JEDI CONTENT.... give us quests and rewards ... make it worth while to be hunted down by other players ... not hunted just to be content for Bounty Hunter players... thast actually being Lazy....BH want to hunt Jedi let them get DJM or DJk (NPC) off the term and hunt them with out cause inter profs flamming and hate..... the fact a BH can come for us should not be our reward and risk.....
anyway.... I think all that sabout to change..I think there adding more player factions anyway and mor eprofs on the terms ... its all a bad idea...
if were BH content...then doesn't that make us a game feature ..not a reward...well. if thats the case ... better put all Jedi on payroll with SOE and PAY us to be content or at the very least we don't pay them to be content for other players..... ONLY Jedi are content for someone else's livly hood of profession
lastly.... Im not a noob.... I can kill most all BH.. its the young paddy's I think about not just myself... Its just the concepts happening I disagreee with..and Im and have been full temp a long time and don't wrorry about xp loss and such... But I do like being a Jedi that has a reputation of acting like one and selflessly helps all other even the lil CL 1 noobs

I think we should get rid of forced PvP completely.
and Saber TEF is plain and simple stupid, since it opens completely up for Harassment. Thats part of the reason why they did remove it in the first place!!
jedi is now not as strong as it was. BHs I easy won over earlier, I am now frequently loosing to. And im using my same tactic as earlier. I still win tho, but thats usually against new and unexperienced BHs. Thatd why we should get rid of the Forced PvP! And it also ruins my gameplay, spoiling all my quests and missions. Its very difficult to protect myself against 1 BH and 2 Nightsisters at the same time! One time I had a NS elder and NS Ranger + a BH on me at the same time outside NS Stronghold. Tried to run away from the NSs, but the total damage made it very difficult getting away, specially when the BHs root etc.
We have now come to a point SOE needs to think of if they should remove the Forced PvP. I did not go jedi to get a free unlock. I went jedi, because thats what I want to play. But its difficult and not fun, when BHs are ruining my play. My missions. and my quests.
you get a free alt, do quests on him if you dont want to not be hunted.
They can very much claim that free character back, because, you see. I did not go jedi for the free character, but for the jedi!!

I would agree with you if we had a better chance to win against the BHs. We are now very much balanced with the BHs, but Im often commited in a battle already when a BH strike, so I dont have only the BH against me, but also NS or a krayt.
Right now Forced PvP is a joke. A free character is not worth it just to be ganked often when a BH hits around. And each time you loose like 500k of XP.
I think they should make jedi just as strong as any other elite profession. But keep the way getting it as "hard" as it is today. There should not be any free character slot either. And Not any BH and xp loss. Just another elite character you have to strive very hard for compared to getting a ordinary Elite profession. It will increase the fun of being jedi. It will also be less hatred to jedi because you will just be as strong as them, and with no forced PvP, you are free to chose your own time for doing PvP, and not when you are busy doing Quests or missions, or eventually in a ingame wedding.. Because that desroys the fun in the game!!!

Hate that it comes to this but I have to say that you are a twit,Now I understand why you are so scared to PvP.You dont have a clue.Pre-cu you had posture changes,KD that you didnt just have to tap a button to recover from,states that actually worked etc.You were probably one of the whiners who cried about how strong Jedi weere too werent you?I always found it amusing that people screamed we were too strong and yet I had about a 75% win rate over Jedi with a regular profession and no DOTS or exceptional weapons.
Yes there were the crazy DOTS pre cu but putting that aside to say that pre cu pvp was brainless just shows you didnt know what the hell you were doing.Everyone had the same HAM Bar?????WTH do we have now? So lets get this straight.You want a better chance to win but you want Jedi to have an "i dont want to play by the rules button"
Why do you think Jeid are in the state they are?It's because of people screaming they were too powerful (at times this was true) and people wanting things easier.
