I totally agree with you, its seems unfair that after unlocking jedi we are almost "Forced" to choose certain templates just to survive rather than have fun.

No your BH just sucked then. Any decent BH would have no problem with you. Consider yourself lucky because your saber isn't good enough to worry any bh with any skill at all. This publish brought out more bh that were scared of fighting Jedi now there are less of them scared to take on Jedi that is for sure.

Im an average Jedi with a below average saber (450 DPS) I do PvP a lot and maybe my PvP knowledge helped a bit but this patch is by no means the Order 66 that people think it is
For the record, these are the only 3 BhI have seen in the last 2 months lol so maybe the Patch made more Bh think about hunting jedi again.

Ok did some more testing tonight so far best thing ive seen to do it get some Rancor Aid drink up and play as normal. Not only did this break snare the bh/cm i tested with was unable to land it again while the drink was active. Cant say how long the drink last because i just had some crafted up fast not really prefected for regular use. But it was a nice way to suprise and turn the tables on the bh in the duel. He used a lot of mind trying to land it again as well another bonus.
So let them snare ya and fight when you think the time is right drink up and unload on him

mmmm, Rancor Aid.....can you make that now? Cause ive been looking for it, but have not found any yet though

"Anger" was never in effect after a root or a snare. "Anger" only kicks in after mezzes (Underhand Shot / Stasis / Paralyze / Concussion Shot ...). Some mezzes have a +Rooted+ as side effect, but the primary purpose is to stop any attack or healing moves (except instant stims). "Anger" only is applied after states that break on damage as a good rule of thumb (since taking damage while in that state is considered too overpowering, so is instantly re-applying that state).
