not not all bad. there still good left in him, hes just a fallen jedi who was trying to save his wife, but the dark side took its toll on him, and made him to all those's bad things plus force choke padme, when you turn to the dark side your not the same person... those's thing that live in you that give you the Force....they turn dark and starts to tell you what they want you to do. thats what vader is. once this happens.. onces you start down the path of the dark side you can never return like Master yoda said..
