Thread: Has anyone seen the Star Wars Saga in order? (1-6)
Saw it in order and it made episode 4 (already a class movie) a bit more sweeter.
However I still prefer watching it 4-6 and then 1-3. For me its all about an establised Bad guy and seeing how he got that way.

I think seeing it the way it came out 4-6, then 1-3 is better. Especially when you have "Luke, I am your father!" and not knowing he is. Just my opinion.
Get some Rancor Aid and stop that snare (so I am told).

will befor watching ep 1-3 i thought Darth vader was a bad guy that everyone hates. like count dooke. i'll be lik i hate darth vader befor seeing 1-3. after seening them and seeing how and seening where Darth vader came from hes my favorite character out of every one else. Anakin/vader , they did such a good job everytime i see vader in 4-6 i know its anakin and its a fallen hero who needs help. i know hes not all evil as i thought he was, anakin is a good person but had problems he couldn't fix so he got help on the other side, but still they couldn't save padme.......at the end of ep 3w ill darth vader ask about padme.. i dont think padme would be able to handle it. it would break her heart. seeing her husband trap in that helmet. .. im happy she didn't have to see anakin in that helmet or see anakin doing those's evil deeds...

When the first trilogy was released in Second Edition rumours about the prequels had already started. I then decided that I would wait to buy anything until they released a box with all 6 movies once it comes.
I have still kept myself to that promise.
Maybe 1-2 years from now I can watch them like that. I surely will.
There have been DVD copies of Revenge of the Sith that were pressed and smuggled out of production places...
Lucas also already sent out DVD's to his friends.
And if you work at a store, you most likely already have the DVD's in storage...
:-p
Plus I think the whole story is more interesting if you watch it from 1-6. You really see the character development.
I mean if you watch 4-6 then 1-3 its kinda like reading the end of a book first. Not that any of us had a choice, but I won't do that to my kids.

This weekend my gf and I finished watching all 6 in order (over a few weekends). It was her first time seeing them and I thought it would be cool to ask her what she thought of the saga in the way my children and future generations will see them. 1-6 not 4-6 then 1-3.
She definately thought that after seeing 1-3 then 4-6 that anakin is very well developed in the first three and it makes the second trilogy more exciting given his past. The anger and frustration come across well and his fall is pretty believable.
I know most people do not like how Hayden Christensen potrayed Anakin, but I think we are also biased because we all thought we knew exactly how it should be done, each of us having our own opinions of what would have been perfect.
I kinda wish I had seen it 1-6 as well. The cliff hanger in episode 5 still exists, at least for luke's character, its different now, instead of focusing on our shock, we look at his and how it changes him, not how it changes their roles. Pretty cool stuff.
Just curious, has anyone else seen them in the new (intended) order? And if so, what did you think?
*Also after watching Jedi kick ass during the movies I'm sad that a lone bh can kite and kill me so easily. There is no skill to PvP when snare is involved, any idiot can say 40m away from someone that is walking.
