See I play on 512 as well and have had my share of packet loss. The trick is to kill the opponent before you crash. Then your good. (Refer to the tempest forums for threads on the RECON - HAKD war for more information on the concept of killing before crashing.)

I'd love to get broadband, but it doesn't exist where I live.
Fortunately, I'm setting up a Wifi Network in my house, 900down 120up ona **edit**ty day... so I should be good.
