it was stated by the Devs during the CU that Force Ranked Jedis should be 1.5 times stronger, there were talks about raising our block from 25% up to 65% with the different ranks. but since we´re just Padawans atm, and i get beaten often enough by BHs with 75% AB slice, 8k energy resist armor and CM in their template we´re far away from being even stillequal to them.

Words like that are the problem. People have noted and been aware of things for centuries, but rarely untill the problem is so big you have to scrap it all together does anyone do anything. In the US, people were aware hurricanes were coming. In parts of Africa, people have noted that countries are starving. In China, they are aware that they have a population problem.


Now, far be it from me to attempt to place our issues on anything near the same level of importance as these, but the premise still holds true. No one tends to worry about a problem untill a problem is too big to handle anymore. Let's turn away from Jedi just briefly to look at the other professions and issues that have currently or continuously received the shaft.


1. Smuggler - Still no missions and as an old smuggler and current one as well, I'll take my old slicing over this new stuff any day of the week.


2. Image Designers - ID window has been bugged since I was an ID over a year ago and still no fix. If someone goes LD mid ID session, the ID can't ID anyone else untill they themselves relog, another problem from when I played more than a year ago.


3. I could go on forever, but ANYONE can just as easily check any professions forum to see their current issues. These are just examples of issues that have existed for some time and no fix yet.


Jedi could be and has been a post to itself many times over about our problems. Powers is almost useless thanks to limited range and warm-up timers. Sabers don't have decent crystals/pearls unlesswere a jedi or hunted crystals way back when. Healer is still basically just out for the user, while basic medic gets a group heal afterfour quick boxes. Enhancer skills are so force/action/mind expensive you almost have to sit down and rest once you start turning them on. Defender's had AI toyed with so many times it's hard to make heads or tails as to whether or not it's even worth using.


I don't blame anyone in particular for problems/issues/moans/groans/complaints. It's a disservice as a whole to the creators of this game, the developers that work on it, the CSRs that try to help and us as players that so many things get left unchecked for so long. I would be proud to see the next publish be called the "fix" publish. Give us things that have been promised and fix things that have been broken for all this time. I could do without any new content if we could just get the fixes that every profession and every person has been asking for.

With all due respect, Garva, it is part of your job to word things as neutrally and encouragingly as possible. I've read your posts. They concern and directly impact me as a customer, and as a customer who has serious doubts about continuing remaining a customer, I am looking for answers and reassurance that my money isn't simply being wasted on something that isn't going to be restored to a semblance of working order that I can enjoy. But your posts do not inform me. They honestly read "kindly shut up and don't forget to keep paying". I'm not looking to twist anything into anything that isn't saying "no, Alexa, you aren't being a chump by paying for something you no longer like We really ARE working on this stuff so that you can have a little fun for your $30 a month and have a reason to spend another thirty for this new expansion".


I have never in my life felt so patronized by a representative of a company I pay my money to for goods or services as your posts and Tiggs' posts make me feel. If I thought I had ANY hope of getting an honest reply and some effort from anyone in SOE by doing so, I'd ask for the name and contact adress of your manager so that I could escalate my concerns to someone who WOULD supply an acceptible level of customer service and communication. But your performance and Tiggs' speaks volumes about the attitudes of your management towards the paying customer.


Please understand that I, as a lifetime veteran of customer service and customer facing jobs, understand how taxing and frustrating it is to do the job you are tasked to. It's HARD to keep that pride swallowed and that temper leashed when an angry customer demands satisfaction in ways that might be inappropriate. But it's something that needs to be done to avoid customer service nightmares such as the one we are currently experiencing. And while it's difficult and stressful, you need to stop treating we, your customers, as if we weren't real and as if this lack of courtesy and service was not real. Because even though our lines of communication, our product and our services are virtual, the business is very, VERY real. It is real money we pay that contributes towards your very real salary. It is real customer relations you need to be performing to earn that real salary. This is the real world, sir, and I strongly suggest you begin to treat it as such.


I also strongly suggest that you begin by treating your customers as customers and giving them the apology they are due and that you make a REAL effort to communicate with rather than to speak down to your community. We ARE listening, Garva, and we ARE waiting. So too should you be. REAL customer relations and service people are looking at this right now and WISHING "If only MY customers were as forgiving and willing to work with ME for a solution to their problems..."

I have an idea Garva


You have said that we have been forwarded all the information we need on prior occasions. (Not a direct quote) So perhaps it would be practical of me to ask for one of several things...


1. A link/links to the aformentioned topics where most of our information is posted.


2. A brief summary of the information writen right here in this topic.


I know it may seem like an idiotic request...but I beleive a summary of the facts in one location would be a very good thing for this community. Hopefully you are allowed to answer this post in a summary, but I have my doubts you'd be able to post that much text without your post being torn to pieces. So either one will suffice

We have to grind out so much more xp than any other prof and yes it is easier post CU but we still cant grind Jedi in a day like other profs can. Our Xp hurdle is much higher than others but yet we keep getting weaker while other get improvements? I am not against inprovments for others but its hard to take when they often help BH and effect us and we have to work so much more and still get the nerfs. Oh for record pre cu Jedi (lame saber due to no pearl fix) and I have not once AFK grinded xp!
On a side note as a wookiee it even worse our BE clohting is limited, cant wear gloves etc like other races with robes and new cloak cant be used by us etc. I love this game been in since launch and am praying you listen and give us some love and not more nerfs I dont want to leave but your forcing me closer to canclingwith each publish.
Oh and you might not be able to see it but your post on the 20th as well intend as they might have been were poorly thought out they came across as shut up and pay me I dont care what you think.Letting people vent can be good also it lets pent up anger out.
Please Garva tell the Devs that Jedi as well as other profs (smugglers) need love and not just the Nerf bat. An again this is not meant to be an attack but a cry for help and understanding from a paying customer.
