Thread: Force Ranking System
I like the general idea but I think there is a problem with the fact that anyone can challenge you at any time. With the number of jedi increasing as it is I would be worried that I when i was out hunting krayts or doing a mission someone would run up to me and challenge me and if I couldnt fight right then and there I would lose my rank because I declined the challenge.

Very easy solution and one I think will be part of new FRS. In old system only MBHs gave FRS points but now that ONLY MBHS can hunt jedi, you wont have to worry about whether you will gain from besting them

and yes Inat chilly boards got boring lolanother issue, and one, being that I am a post cu jedi, that would affect many (or most) of us adversely, is that witht the condition of pearls the way they are, the majority of us, who have crap pearls, would wind up filling out the lower levels of the encloaves while those who were either jedi forever, or spent 10 trillion credits to get decent pearls, would wind up pwning their way into the top ranks. Not a whine. But if you have someone who has a 750dps saber (high min-max damage), there is little way for them to be beaten. Mot impossible. but extremely difficult for the meat of the population. Once sabers are on a more even keel, then you will find that the ranks will be filled with those who have become better pvp'ers than others. As it should be. Also, with the non-combat type templates, there will be little to no chance for them to ascend either.
I can understand why the frs is taking so long. There is a real dilemna here with figuring a way to make it valuable, accessible and fair for all jedi. While deterring cheaters (exploiters) and maintaining the attention of the jedi population. You all know as well as I know that if the FRS and the ToOW are not super products, swg may well be over.
Do i have constructive criticism as to how the frs should be? I have ideas but Im quite sure they are one sided. But I would think that there would have to be a mixture of combat and non-combat content in order to make it accesible for all jedi. As long as the moment it goes live, I can go ahead and at least become a knight or something, Ill be happy. For a little while.

it may come out around this new expansion..it may not....there really isnt anything to indicate its coming out any time soon besides this new expansion
