^ Thanks for the HTML mess up ![]()
Since you've obviously been away in grind world for the past 4 months:
The FRS dosn't exist, it was removed at the start of the CU indefinately untill further notice.
I hope it's 1v1, JvJ as well. But that would rule out a lot of helper and GCW based templates, even as far as Master Powers, which is strictly speaking a crowd control profession.
But as long as it doesn't involve the GCW or interaction with non-jedi players, I don't care what it looks like ![]()

you are talking about the challenge?
yeah, similar to the BH vs Jedi rules (in fact just the same!)... you can only issue a challenge to a jedi in the same faction which is exactly 1 rank above you and if you win you trade ranks. If you loose no penalty except that perhaps you shouldnt be able to challenge for x amount of time... sounds fair?
There is no interaction with non jedi and gcw on this frs... at all.
Suprisingly, there has been well over 100 views but only 1 reply...

Sorry dudes, ive been reading so many threads about this recently and I cant seem to find a very simple and (apparently) cheat free system.
So apparently we have x members at the top, then y below and so on.
The FRS is comming soon (eventualy)
And last is that we want it to be desirable.... mods, skils etc
So what should one do? obviously-> combat oriented.
so.. to start fill the council by either jedi age or account age.
Now we have the starting council, its fair because we need this filled out fairly and the oldest jedi should get it done.
Now punish those who arent playing: every jedi that is in the council need to actively pursuit something to gain time on the council. This is similar to the old frs system... the more opposite faction jedi/bh you defeat more faction time you gain. You need this to maintain your position in the council... if you run out of position or your account is cancelled (or maybe you havent logged in in X ammount of time you loose your council position).
Climbing ranks: this can only be done by challenging a higher member of the council. You need to find one and then /challenge him. He cannot refuse. if you defeat him you trade places.
You can only challenge to the rank above your own.
There... you want up, challenge and take out the one above you.
Fight clubs wouldnt work at all since the looser always get seriously penalised, bh alts wouldnt work except for getting council time which is only partly usable since the real difficulty is finding those above your rank and challenging them.
It sounds better on the sith point of view, but challenges dont actually require a db I suppose so the light jedi could get through it as well.
Oh and of course, jedi and sith are always special forces.. .ALWAYS!
No point being Jedi if you arent willing to take the consequences:
Jedi need to fight for waht they believe is right and Sith are just to arrogant to believe they can be defeated.
Sounds good?
And no, no jedi yet... working through it as we speak... but slowly... dont like spin or grinds.
I don't think there was anything wrong with the old FRS system EXCEPT how you gain force ranking xp and how you lose it...
Of course there is a set number at each level, has to be. In all honesty I liked the way the dark and light enclaves were set up. Dark Jedi (aka Sith) are all about the apprentice killing the master that kind of jazz. While the light side is more peacful and political. Just like in the old system it's very easy to punish those that aren't active, you simply puta maintance cost on each rank. That way a jedi has to constantly be gaining force ranking xp to stay at rank.
Jedi should gain and lose FRS xp by fighting other jedi or bhs, period! I've heard rumor and really like the idea of a type of tef system where a non jedi can initiate combat with a knight, but the knight can only defend him/her self.
**edit**
You can't have a strictly 1v1 FRS system. There are jedi professions that are made for support and would have no chance standing up against other templates in a 1v1 fight. For example, Master Powers and Master Healer.
