Thats why i said 32m + and specifically recommended 33m, last time i checked 33m > 32m = 0 vis

I was responding someone question about grouping, but more importantlyvis is not the end of the world. The xp loss (especially given the removal of clone xp loss) is low compared to the benefits of a group. Also, I would think that the speed of a group killing using your method would be slow compared to a group that is doing all it can to max xp (e.g., rate of 400k in 2-3 hours). It may net out the sameif you do get killed by a BHbut I find thatthere are many nights that I do not even see a BH. Also there are other ways to avoid BH if you are worried about it like hunting in the Madryyl Caverns.

Your friends probably haven't reached the threshhold visibility amount yet. Whatever that number is. It's not that if one person or two people sees you. But if you reach 100 or 1000 visibility points. Whatever the number is. And when you start at zero. It takes a while to get to the threshhold. If you are hunting with 2 others, and they are the same faction. Then you only get 1/2 per person.

May take a few days to work your way up. But by then, you'll get visits. Maybe not as much as before, since the Respec BH's have gotten frustrated and respeced out.

I was under the same thoughts at first. And for 3 days, was grinding however I wanted. Until the first BH showed up. Then the grouped bh showed up the next day. And the bh that showed up later in the day.

Back when I was grinding padawan I was really worried about getting onto the terms. I ground out enh 0002 and LS 0300, and had all the novice boxes. The CU hit and I was really bummed out that I couldn't solo effectively anymore. But I tried anyway and the experience progression rate was abysmal. Then one day I was grinding away and a squad of stormtroopers marched right over the lair I was attacking. I'm not sure if they spawned there or what, but I knew that I had visibility at that point. So I was pretty disgusted. The next day I logged on and I got a tell from someone that I had never met saying "Hi! How have you been?" Very suspicious, so I asked a BH friend to check and sure enough I was on the terms. A couple days went by and I decided to get back into the game and do some grinding. I had heard that the group grind was fantastic, so since I had nothing to lose at that point I joined up with a guild group and started grinding. I had a blast actually fighting with my lightsaber in a group! A few hours and several hundred thousand exp pts later I was sold.

Later that day when I got back to the guild hall, I saw a purple dot approach on my radar. I was not on alert since this was a PURPLE dot and not a blue dot, plus when I saw the guy he was actually riding a bantha, kinda weird. I never thought he could be a BH, until he got off the bantha and started shooting me. I was very surprised, but fought back, and actually killed the guy, then I took out his mount too, just for the heck of it. He must have been a really newbish respec BH because I wasn't even a 100k Jedi at that point. I was maybe 76k IIRC. But the experience was good for me and I went ahead and took advantage of the bonus exp period and got all the exp that I could while grouped. Now, a month later I am nearly a full template and have yet to be killed by a BH, despite many of them making good attempts, even bringing along friends. But I haven't had any BHs come for me lately. Probably because I'm worth over 200k now and they all go after the lower padawans.

The reason I'm relating this story is because I found that being on the terms is not something to be feared. Embrace being on the terms. Enjoy the experience. I have had a blast, and have been on the terms for nearly a month now. I have had many BHs come for me and most of them have died. The ones who have not died were lucky enough to escape. The last couple of weeks I have decided to go overt all the time as well and I'm really enjoying PVP. I just wish that more BHs would come for me. It's been a while since I've been able to get my fix.

Get on the terms and expect the BHs to come for you. Go public with your lightsaber and use your force powers for all to see. Be proud of your Jedi profession and enjoy the exilharation that the freedom of coming out of hiding brings you. I have had a lot of fun in the game lately with my change in attitude. Forget this "all Jedi should stay in hiding" garbage. Play the game on YOUR terms (no pun intended). Group with your friends and you will enjoy the game more.

Dont stay hiden, just grind hard.
pick up CM and 2000 healing ASAP. CM for stalling BH's and 2000 can heal you well, use burst run if a BH is coming to kill you and have safehouses near where you grind.
Go the same direction every time when you grind (i went NE / E from ketzalopolis (bria) w/my group with a few safe houses there) and just lvl.
I only died 4 times and killed BH's quite easily (the lowest was 2000 heal and 0241 LS) and i completed my grind yesterday after a 3 weeks of playing.

Here is the secret to group jedi xp with NO vis.

1. Get a big group, the bigger the better (8 max of course) with at least one hard hitting ranged proff, such as a rifleman

2. Emphasis to the group your special problem with maintaining a distance of 32m +

3. Get the highest level, non grouping/swarming, non agro mobs (ie dewbacks) missions you can get.

4. get to the missions and have the group stand as close as possible to each other, almost on top of each other.

5. position yourself 33m from the group, making sure that the group and you are in range of the lair as well.

6. use a ranged attack to agro one of the mobs (saber throw is nice, but use force hit till you get that, force hit is available and novice enhancer i think)

7. Now the ranged hard hitter hits the mob, drawing it to the group and away from you. Make sure that the mob gets to the group so that melee profs can get in a hit.

8. Rinse and repeat

Using, you need to train you group on it first. THEY CAN NOT MOVE (no charge shots!!!!) or they will get to close and get you vis if you continue attacking. At 33m from the group, if you do miss your first shot, the mob will be between you and the group and still within your 32m attack range, so you get another shot. With the entire group hitting one mob it dies pretty quick. If necessary let the group heal up between mobs. Everyone soon realizes that with this nobody, not even melee, has to move, that the mob comes to them. THe xp flows in and the vis does not!!!!

Also, 2 jedi can do this with the group by forming a triangle, each point 33m from each other, 2 points are the jedi, one is the group. Its a little tricky this way smoetimes with rugged terrain, but can usually be done, let the jedi get the hi ground usually.

Never tried with more than 2 jedi, but it would be VERY tricky unless one of them was a tank

Good luck all!!
