I agree with you kinda...but I am really not sure what you all said. You left out all punctuation so it is just one run-on sentence. REALLY hard to read. But if you said what Ithink, then I agree.

Very easy to stay hidden, you just wont make Knight until 2010 with this new system

lol yea i do that alot, and i think i said what u think i said so u agree lol thx

and to wrap it up i said that its not all that hard for jedi paddies to stay hidden, if they get on the terms its pretty much there fault and they should except that they cant grind or a while or will have to die. Jedi get mad that BH hunt lower lvls but if they didnt then paddies would flawnt ther epowers more then anyone else. see what i am sayng?

well you may have not gotten them on the terms yet but as they advance in jedi skills its easier to get vis, and until SOE makes some changes to the visiblity system, you still get vis in groups(although the vis system seems a bit buggy right now)

Not hard at all. I've been jedi since last March(almost 3 months now) and I have not got on terms once. I have 3 close friends in-game that are BH and they even check the terms for me regularly. Even if u must hunt in group, then hunt only with ranged prof and have them stay 32meters away during combat. I have hunted like this numerous times post-CU without getting on terms.

I have been on the BH terms twice in a year ....once because I jumped some NPC Imps (which I understand flags you asap)..... and the second being I am a finished template and was half way through the Knight trials...when they turned off the KNight trials I went on a NPC killing spree which again flagged me.

With this new system in place its going to take a longer time to grind solo .....but you can. And it will be just as easy to stay off the terms.

Ask yourself this .....do you want to finish your template in a reasonable amount of time? Or do youwanna take longer and stay hidden?

Can you stay hidden if your in a unit with other padawans? What if your just with rebels? Or what happens if your alone, if your seen are you like put on thier hit lists?

Do or do not do, there is no try.
And to show you how the Devs have lied:
"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, ?How can we do this and not make another EQ?? We didn?t want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we?ve created a system to make that happen."

You're thinking pre-CU. A Jedi can no longer go out into the middle of nowhere and just start grinding. "All the crazy spawns" con gray and give exactly1 xp each once you've spent several minutes killing it. Now a grinding Padawan is yoked to a mission terminal, forced to hunt inside the mission belt in order to get mobs the correct CL. I abort almost as many missions as I complete because of NPC spawns right next to my mission lair. I would dearly love to be able to just go out 5km from anywhere and anybody and just clear a swath. Well, I still can.. it just won't get me any xp.

The SWG Forums. You will never find a more wretched hive of
catassery and buttmonkeyism. We must be cautious.

Here is the secret to group jedi xp with NO vis.

1. Get a big group, the bigger the better (8 max of course) with at least one hard hitting ranged proff, such as a rifleman

2. Emphasis to the group your special problem with maintaining a distance of 32m +

3. Get the highest level, non grouping/swarming, non agro mobs (ie dewbacks) missions you can get.

4. get to the missions and have the group stand as close as possible to each other, almost on top of each other.

5. position yourself 33m from the group, making sure that the group and you are in range of the lair as well.

6. use a ranged attack to agro one of the mobs (saber throw is nice, but use force hit till you get that, force hit is available and novice enhancer i think)

7. Now the ranged hard hitter hits the mob, drawing it to the group and away from you. Make sure that the mob gets to the group so that melee profs can get in a hit.

8. Rinse and repeat

Using, you need to train you group on it first. THEY CAN NOT MOVE (no charge shots!!!!) or they will get to close and get you vis if you continue attacking. At 33m from the group, if you do miss your first shot, the mob will be between you and the group and still within your 32m attack range, so you get another shot. With the entire group hitting one mob it dies pretty quick. If necessary let the group heal up between mobs. Everyone soon realizes that with this nobody, not even melee, has to move, that the mob comes to them. THe xp flows in and the vis does not!!!!

Also, 2 jedi can do this with the group by forming a triangle, each point 33m from each other, 2 points are the jedi, one is the group. Its a little tricky this way smoetimes with rugged terrain, but can usually be done, let the jedi get the hi ground usually.

Never tried with more than 2 jedi, but it would be VERY tricky unless one of them was a tank

Good luck all!!

Using force powers within 32m even if theyyou aregrouped with other padawans or people of the same faction will still make you vis. Even if your groupis a driod you own.

That being said, I used to be soooo worried about vis. Instead of worrying about it,focus on getting fh3000. That coupled with synsteak (only last 30 secs but gives you time to get away), a quick knockdown recoverytrigger finger, parwannutcake (that reduces recovery time for burst run)and a nearby safe house, you can usually escape. Even if you don't (been killed5 times by BH,I have killed 2 BHs andescaped 10+ encounters), a good group can get you 400kxpin a few hours, so losing 50-150k is worth the upside. If you solo grind as a padawan you are extremely lucky to get 90-100k in 3 hours. So justwatch your radar and be paranoid. Nothing like the adreneline rush of a BH bearing down on ya.

Now read Zorbok's post again and then ask yourself "self, do I think I can do this on a conssistent basis and not ahve anyone come to within 32m while I am using my force powers or lightsabre. self do I think i can find these disciplined groups with the right makeup on a consistent basis." The answer you will hear is this, "self, your screwed."

"NO DISINTEGRATIONS!"

"As you wish..."
