)post I have ever read. We want the devs to play the game so they can experience the real live server issues. As a matter of fact a number of issues were resolved while devs were playing on live servers as they did not encounter some of the problems under test conditions.

wasn't aware that the devs are limited to playing a certain profession or that they were unable to play others....maybe things are the way they are because this forum is littered with whiney nerf this and nerf that posts from its own profession.

I don't know about other games, but I know for a fact that Blizzard employees play their games on their spare time. They are encouraged by their company so they get a number of free accounts for it.
Tanks can i get a Dev to play a commando? They dont have a clue about that proffesion.

Folks like me do not get to make those kind of calls. People who script/code arevery similar toplumbers. If the bosses wantsus to put a toilet in the center of the living room, we redirect the pipes, dig a hole and install that toilet in the center of the living room. I may be able to put one of those cakes in it that turns the water blue, but that toilet is going in the center of the living room.

yeah that is totally understandable and ok. but if blixtev cannot do anything then we dont want to talk to blixtev, but the person that can do something. pretty logical isnt it?
what a dev plays means nothing to me or many others.
that they thought the tripe they coded was a good idea,thats what bothers alot of us?
if hes a plumber who installs broken toilets hed be unemployed,and thats what we are gettin time and time again.
many of us have left,awaiting last subsciptions days end,so they can put the **edit**ter whereever they want now it no longer matters to us.
but spare us the we just follow orders bs,a person that installs a broken toilet is as bad as the person that told them to do it,grow up folks....seems all of soe is disreputable atm,hidin g behind someone else
get some nuts and stand up and own you coded crap sent out the crap,and get paid for producing crap....at least then your being honest for once in this game

in my opinion its only the bosses fault if he orders to install a toilet in the living room. if that toiled was broken then that would be the plumbers fault.
and if someone was upset about the toilet being in the living room then the boss should have to rectify that on his cost.

Unfortunately, Blixtev is not telling the exact truth.
This is the developer who was playing his BH one weekend, decided the NPC marks were rather boring and so, the same weekend, devised, programmed and implemented the system of High Level/Loot Dropping NPC marks. He did that in two days. Either he got approval over the phone or by email or, as seems more likely, he had the authority to do it himself.
And we can't get a Dev tomake Grand Kraytsdrop pearls.

The same dev also grinded a Jedi Guardian pre-Pub 9, and a full template Jedi post Pub 9 on his personal accounts. So, he knows both sides.

the publish is functionally broken it unbalances the game.......the devs know it,the execs know it
and we know it,stop dancing around the issue,id not work one day for someone that told me to code a POS,then publish it.
not one day.
devs...show some integrity if ya have any left,doing the wrong thing because some asked or told ya too is no excuse for anything.
