Thread: How Many Vets Will Quit If Their Pearls Get Nerfed?
I have been playing since the beginning of this game and well i unlocked post cu. I took some time off while all of the premium farming was going on so i came back after the CU and finally unlocked didnt even have 1 pearl. Took me a long time and a lot of auctions but i finally was able to put together a decent saber 117 114 114 107 and not all of them are premiums. It is still possible to get a good saber and if the devs take away my pearls and the time i spent getting them ill be really upset and most likley end my accounts. I also do feel for the newer jedi who dont have the pearls because for a bit of time i was one of them but if you guys keep working and stop complaining good things will happen. I never complained about the pearls i just kept the search alive and kept hunting.

didnt the post by the devs explain that those pearls made the game unbalanced and needed to be stopped IMMEDIATELY, or did I miss something ??
Ifthat is the case and they are unbalanced, (I dont agree that they are unbalanced) isn't it a little ironic that they reset the max damage level of pearls/crystals from 50 to 120, during a combat upgrade that was supposed to rebalance the game, then declare many weeks later that premium pearls are unbalanced?
Maybe if they had spent a little time letting the Jedi sandbox testers actually test the game before hastily releasing a broken Jedi system, we wouldn't be in this state.

It seems to me, it would in fact seem to me that YOUR privilige was to play jedi when they were indeed the shock and awe of SWG, as opposed to now when its more choke and yawn. Oh and don't give me the old "but I worked so hard, waah waaah wahh"-line, because honestly, hologrinding wasn't "hard" it was a chosengrind, same as any other. Some even unlocked easier than we do today with a few lucky choices. But a grind it was, with more power, greater risk, greater glory, but ultimately far far more rewarding than currently is. Especially considering the "respect" new path jedi get from the socalled Elders that keep forgetting there were some other professions lurking in the backgroud during hologrinding, playing their role in their saga, every bit as valuable as yours. The pearl nerf is not something either you or we DESERVE as either privilige or punishment!

ROFL. 5000 dmg sabers. 85% saberblock. Lightsaber damage resisted by nothing. Uber doc buffs that made you PvE invincible. Dervishing lvl 99 voritor lairs in 3 minutes by yourself. Able to grind in the wild and actually get xp for it. Solo groups. Farming krayts for premium pearls on bugged spawn points. Bugged spawns in the geo cave. AFK grinding in the Warren. Yup. Sounds like it was pretty tough.
Wow, then according to you, I should have a perfect saber too. I don't mind you. I did have, and still do have, a life outside the game. BTW Mr. I got to be 20x more powerful, wear armor, and FR w/ full damage (same as I), you tell everyone else to suck it up if a nerf happens. I guess that means you should too right?

No please expalin why some people dont have better pearls, could it be they didnt have the opportunity to get them, or that some older Jedi would kill steal any Ancient dragon from groups to get them, because of the damage that older Jedi once had, or that some people played the game for 2 years before finally unlocking their Jedi, and didnt know that they would be removed from the game.
I really wish people would stop compairing pre-CU to now its not the same, things need to changed.

Nobody is claiming that grinding Jedi now is difficult. Stop pretending it was before.
Stop pretending like you have played both systems. I have and I can tell you that you have a cake walk. We started out with no skills, and potentially could be attacked by any player in the game. Now you start with TKM and medic skills, and one BH at a time. Half the Jedi now are respec or afk Ryatt grinders. I think it's a joke, so move along noob you don't know what you are talking about.

Why don't you try losing the noobish poser attitude. YOu have no clue, and are a pest. I suggest you pull your head from your rectum and go let some more people pick on you like they used to in school. YOu pitiful loser.

I have a Saber, Pre CU with flawless pearls. Took along timeto get/buy.
Now, if you dont have an instant ubersaber, Jedi cry. Get over it, beat the bushes, master a profession and make credits, then go buy what you need. I'm so tired of nerf this and nerf that. Nerf your lame whining.
Hey, lets take away all credits over 1 million. I mean if you dont have a million, and I do then doom on me. I guess my foresight and business sense dont matter, lets bend over backwards for the whiners. Loot is broken across the board, lets nerf all +25 attachments. Give me a break.
To punish players for having a great saber pre CU is insane. Look at the loot tables, fix them ( including pearl drops ) and lets go. Until then, stop whining.

DPS means nothing, a jedi w/ 700+ damage on their saber will mow down any BH trotting around w/ a rifle, and even then rifles don't reach 1000+ DPS, just 1000+ damage.
You can quit but you will gain cash by ebaying. Jeby populace will never go down long as there is Ebay
