I'm not a Master Combat Medic, but couldn't they Paralyze you after they were rooted to wait for the root to wear off?

players that have to rely on their mission not triggering until they throw in the first DOTs and paralyze TWO METERS away from their mark are just lousy players in the end. I'd prefer to make them follow me around and lead them into a high end aggro cave, then take screenshots.

That being said, they arent hard to kill like the original poster says. AB, PA, KD, DB

I am MLS MDEF HEALER 2xxx ENH xxx3 I dont have root or force run, I use adv throw KD snare then burst out of combat range call a speeder then fly to the nearest factional base or to a major city and find a small room prefabaly at the back of a main city cantina. Recoup some force via channel if needed and wait for the BH to come find you then attack him in the room so he or she can not run round. Never tryed but if your lucky to get away and not in combat you may be able to do /logout and pray thatit takes the BH more than 30 secs to find you again. go for a few beers and then log back in by this time chances are the Bh would of dropped your mission or offline.

And therein lies the problem...

I just fought one of these templates for a botu 20 mintuse before giving up and logging out.

I am MLS, Healer 4444, 3002 enhancer, novice defender.

My strategies: 1) see bh, run away and buff up with food, ensure my force speed is fresh, quaf some spice...
2) turn around, force suppression, improved force sap, armor break... saber throw 3, imp head hit, imp body hit...

at this point, one of two things has happened. 1) they're at 25% health and the fight is basicaly over because they're in a healing loop or 2) my attacks have done exactly 424 damage each vs their energy resist capped, AB sliced armor, and they heal all the damage i just dealt with ONE bacta shot.

In that event, the fight drags on quite a while. I apply a bleed with my saber, I keep force sap on them and hope they keep draining their action and mind bars. Its a race to see whose bar drains first: my force, or their mind. Their heals easily keep up with my damage, and my heals struggle when they score multiple critical shots in a row. They try to kite me. I keep up with them with force run on, and keep applying head and body hits, and re-apply force sap as necessary.

The fight drags on for quite some time and my 34 force cost saber (post cu pearls and crystals remember) causes me to have to flee.

Any CM/BH with half a brain and some good quality Recon armor can outlast me because i can't out damage their healing capability, and with food/spice their mind regens just fine even with force sap on.

ryal with that temp why dont you go ahead and completely master healer.

Looks at your saber and gasps. You should be able to vastly improve that saber by tuning quality crystals alone and even if you could get it below 20 that would be a vast improvement on what you have now.If my saber was like that I would be using a weapon thatcould be used just on combat level like the featherweight FWG5 pistol.

What happens if they 8200 Energy layered armor with 75% armor break sliced ? Stack that with 40% combat speed debuff and by time you get to the BH they have recovered from KD and fully healed

I can fight them quite well but usually run out of force before they run out of mind(Can't wair for the FRS and more force as you advanced :smileywink

having a high pvp rating means often only one thing: Being part of a ganksquad in a SP and increasing the jedihate

not true. i pvp solo about 80% of the time. most of my kills are 1v1 current rating 1717 been as high as 1801.

a high pvp rating usually means you know how to win fights and what to do in PVP. unfortunately most people think that cloning 3 times before you finally kill an opponent is a valid tactic and makes one somehting of a pvp god.

thats why you take up master powers/master sabers...

fought one of those types day fore yesterday he lasted about 40 seconds. he started out by paralyzing me and stacking his poo. this brought him down to less than 1/4 of his mind bar so when i opened up on him with lightning choke etc it didnt take long before he was out of mind and couldnt heal.

energy resist armour does squat if your using non-energy attacks as the main damage dealer.
