Sorry bout that Glzmo, thought it was the first two letters capitalized. And yes, that addition is wonderful, it would allow for roleplay a lot better. Especially since not every Jedi Master was on the council. Example: Qui-Gon Jinn.

Part of the job of the Master is to teach the Padawan to survive, this is in all situations. Besides, Bounty Hunters can team up to 5 to come after you, and even a Jedi Knight can't easily handle a well-equipped Bounty Squad. I'm not saying the Knight should fight all battles for the padawan, but he/she should be able to assist with it since a padawan that is still in the apprenticeship stages doesn't really stand a chance. Hopefully that clears the concept up some.
