So your sample of data is two people? If I picked two people out of a large group I could "prove" anything. Given good PvP skills and knowledge of any template BH or jedi or any other, a player can play well and fight well and take on opponents much more "powerful" than they.

no, my sampling is more than 2. I just picked 2 with different templates.

1) I'm still undefeated Vs BH. You're right about PVP ability playing a part.

2) You're not a Jedi so you're not really in a place to comment, just like I wouldn't comment on the state of Rangers. There are quite a few factors that effect the fight, but I've seen the BEST Jedi taken down by a MCM / MBH with great equpment.

3) Have your friend find a MCM / MBH with a great rep on your server and duel him. Or have him duel a Master Swordsman / TKM / Doc who knows PVP. He will loose at least one of those 2 duels.

those 2 dufferent jedis u saw, 1 was ls, the other one must than been only powers and no ls, right?

If so I would love to see a power jedi "whipe" the floor with a bh, lets say a MCM as that isnt to uncommon, btw Im master Powers and no ls and I DONT "whipe" the floor with the bh, cause powers is to slow by it self to win a fast fight if the bh doesnt make a misstake, but yes I win after a long fight.

How jedi feel that that they are not powerful. I watched a guildmate jedi (mdef/mls enh xxx2/heal 3xxx) take down what was Sunday his 29th straight win against a BH. In none of the fights was he ever in trouble. I have the benefit of hearing him on ventrilo, and he literally wiped the floor with these guys. Ok, well, I am used to seeing this from him. I guess he is just really good at his template... but then, on Saturday, I saw another Jedi with avery different template (not sure of template, but he had powers and enhancer for sure) wipe the floor with a bh. So after deliberating over the events that I watched, I concluded that....

I don't understand why some of you have such a problem against BH's while others don't even sweat them. The problem seems to me that the ability to beat a bh is not in the template? It would appear to me that the ability to kill any given template bh rests strictly in the players abilities. Not in the template they have. So, to put it bluntly, if you cant beat a bh, you just need to practice learning your template.

QFE!! The damage on your saber is a minor factor, but not the real reason for winning is based on skill, not the template or weapon. I have seen poor pvpers with MUCH better sabers die in no time to me.

It's the difference between Pre and Post CU sabers. Post CU you need to have 4 - 100+ pearls to compete. W/O that no MLS is gonna be able to beat BHs who are good PvPers, no matter how skilled they are in PvP.

I know that is not true because all his latest sabers are created using pearls he got after CU. I was with him on many of those hunts.

Here is the deal with pearls/crystals. The tunes do come. You tune 100 pearls/crytstals and you will get 4 that are good saber material. It is a numbers game. Don't get 3 or 4 expecting to get an uber saber.

Well, I'm over 50 tunes on pearls so far, and have ONE result over 80 damage (a 106 dam/-4 fc pearl).

Bh should learn to use the element of suprise abit beter, toe to toe with a jedi they should be beat, bh have the adv over jedi they can pick when to attack this is a skill that carnt be found on ya skill tree, and cost no sp lol.

jedi should be stronger and are stronger 1.5 its said, simple realy use the adv, and try to lvl the fight.

more skill = win,

bh catches jedi wit pants down = win,

I still think it depends on the template. Yes tactics play a very large part in winning, but there are some templates that are beatable when it comes to BH. As everyone knows a MLS/Menh has a slim chance in beating a MCM MBH. I lose about 60 percent of my BH battles. Due to the poor tunes (Thanx SOE) and no decent pearls I get outdamaged. SO in my case as many Template is a big issue.

I have not died to a bounty hunter since Feburary whlie doing the knight trials and I died twice that day after getting off the Corvette and leaving the Geonosian cave which both were death traps. Every bounty hunter that has come for me after the CURB didn't last very long even master combat medics but the post CURB Jedi with their lightsabers do not stand a chance against many bounty hunters even if they know how to PvP that their lightsaber will not inflict enough damage a bounty hunter can easily heal back. It is all about the veteran lightsaber versus the new guys' lightsabers.

And of course master force wielder is absolutely no match for any bounty hunter.

alot of powers go right through the armour of a BH... master powers with 4xx2 enhancer can be very tough on a BH. particularly if they are expecting a saber jedi

Another reason why bhs arent all that hard is that jedi have been practicing their jedi skills for what used to be 6 months dont know how long it takes anymore but bhs only have bene practicing their skills for weeks due to the grind lenght of each profession so jedi know what skills to use for the best results the grind should really be more training for PVP.

MBH/MR/0020medic

Equip your healing efficiency clothing and check your med droid to boost those heals to 1300+ every 3sec.Get some spice tea/blob candy. Stack those doc buffs and pop a spice before you roll in. (you don't need steaks or waffers until the buffs wear out)

Stick to state changing shots and alternate snare/kd. Roots/mezz's are reserved for the KD and added timing for a well placed critical shot...............

BH is not hard and I can easily tank a jedi all day with this template. Eventually you WILL give up or die.

Your force pool is you Achilles heal........true story.
