Thread: OK Tiggs, there have been 100's of people posting that your wrong on pearl and crystal tuning..
700+ dps, thats something i dont even dream about it in a short term. maybe when they get it in a dam quest ill do it with all my alts, only then id b happy about it...
guess that ll take a long time to happen tho..

Like I said, nothing I would ever use in my saber, but with tuning the way it has been lately I think this might actually be considered decent compared to some of the other tunes coming from "good" pearls/crystals

Like I said, nothing I would ever use in my saber, but with tuning the way it has been lately I think this might actually be considered decent compared to some of the other tunes coming from "good" pearls/crystals

I don't know.. I look at it this way, I knew this was going to take for ever to get the premiums back.. I posted that back when they stopped dropping they where going to wait for the frs to come back .. or a new expansion and it looks like I was write... for the most part.. I would like to see Tiggs orTH or someone explain to me why tunes aren't as good as they say they are.. or even better why they took the creatures out that was dropping them.. this hole thing on they where to hard and every one was complaining is kind of bs if you ask me.. so what we had to have a full group of elite profession . to kill one.. kind of what they want in the end any ways... hard to get and hard to find, right.. so why take it out if that's what they want.. kind of silly flip flop if you ask me...

The DEV team tryed to nerf us with the exp nerf, i think the pearl thing is proposital too. they want to thin us out and Tiggs is just talking bull cuz she s not allowed to say it to our faces "we dont want new jedi anymore, stop playing jedi and go BH, thats what we want right now. "

OMG! you guys have to be kidding right. I mean that tune is only 20 dam, -.08 spd and -2 FC off from being perfect. what the hell do you guys think we are supposed to get 120, -.30, -9 more than 20% of the time. I'm sorry, that tune is damn good and if anyone thinks it isn't, well then you'll never be satisfied with the tuning process "EVER". You simply can't have a high number of tunes above the one listed above. It should be a very rare thing to get the perfect tune. By you guys standard, the good pearl I tuned last week (-117 dam, -.13 spd, -5 fc) is total crap. Well considering I only had 1 pearl over 100 damage before this tune (had 2 80's and one 61 in my saber previously) I was extremely happy to get the 117 tune.
To say that theabovetune is nothing and you wouldn't use it in your saber shows me that you simply want nothing but the absolute perfect of the perfect stuff and anything less just won't do and your complaining to tiggs. If you have that attitude, you'll never be satisfied. I mean it's almost like saying that legendary weapons should drop 1 in every 10 loot drops pre-CU.
For anyone reading this thread, if you get a tune of 100, -.22, -7......that is a very very good tune. The reason why is because although it's not very close to perfect, it is extremely difficult to get high stats in all three areas on one tune at once, especially with high damage. I have plenty of pearls / crystals with capped speed and SAC but damages lower than 40. The normal tunes will always have one of the 3 areas tune very low most of the time, as I said, if you get all three that high....well then you have a very close relative tothat guy named "PERFECT". I'll take asister/brother tune anyday over a distant cousin...
As for the guy a few post up with the 700+ dps and 730 max damage. Againif your not satisfied with that, then something isvery wrong becausewith the average saber of 145 - 245 with perfectcrystals/pearls, you get725 maxdamage, with a 260 max saber you only get 740 withall 4 perfect tunes....to get over that means you didn't experiement on the SAC of your saber at all and yes that would make the saber crapsince after about 5 swings your out of action.
Honestly some of the people in these forums complaining about the tuning processneed to understand that it's a random thing within a predefined set of rules. We would all like premiums to drop, buteven then you guys would still be complaining because even premiums tuned to 0 damage in the past. I had many premiums tune to less than 20 damage with -.01 speed and 1to 3 FC.....and premiums weren't as easy to get then....now if premiums drop, with roots and other special abilities, premiums would be so easy to get because the people farming CL 111 mobs will just farm any mob that drops premiums and flood the market just like +25 SEA's afew months ago.
Guys, get over it and realize that if you want the absolute most perfect tunes, you either have to tune until your face turns blue or you get lucky likesome of use and get one in less time.
