Thread: Say NO to Lava-Sabers!
the banes heart crystal doesnt give the blade any heart emotes.. its a name.. the lava crystal is jus a name.. itll jus be a normal colour with fire damage!

and if you dont want the lava crystal in your saber.. guess what! You dont have to!
try waiting till you see what its actually like, then post your whine threads about it.

What good is a lava saber when you'll never get good enough pearls/crystals to make it worthwhile?
Oh that's right, this is all a ruse to get us to buy the expansion where there will be a quest in which a premium pearl is given. In other words, something that used to be in the game all the time is now being made exclusive to those who buy the expansion.
If anyone honestly can say they didn't see this coming, thenyou're blind.

Now seriously, if there's any chance that this LS takes us back to those pre-CU LS, I'm more than willing to accept whatever it may comes, even if it's orange with green stripes !
it is very doubt full that the lave cyrstal will have any more power than the banes heart or the sunriders destiny.
/sarcasm on ...this might up set the perfect game balance soe has acheived with the wildly popular combat upgrade...../sarcasm off.
the only way this crystal would be worth getting and buying the expasion pack is to let you add it to your post cu saber only as an extra boost of damage along with the 5 pearls or crystals you have now. Man, did i just give soe a marketing tool, i have to quit that.
personally i beleive that soe is going to take everything they have taken away from us and put it in this expasion to make sales. they keep boasting a million sales of the swg game,,,do the math....there are only 250,000 players...its not good to pi$$ off 75% of your customer base so much that they dont come back after the first month.
you know, a delorien was a fine looking car, but a peice of crap mechanicly...sort of like this new crystal.
also, when soe uses the term lucky, as in gives a lava apperance for the lucky owner....really means its nota certainty that it drops everytime...if it was the statement would have said that has a lava appearance when you get it...not for the lucky owner....

Exactly...
They don't call it "Lava Crystal" or anything like the Bane's Heart or Sunrider's Destiny...
And saying that anyone in here is whining or over-reacting is just being childish... if you've actually read the posts, we're discussing the POSSIBILITY.
I've said, repeatedly, that it might not be some ridiculous invention, so...
No one here is whining... other than a few recent posts whining about this thread's existence.
As for, "if you don't want it in your saber... guess what...", yeah that's a great point.
Guess what, if you don't like this thread...

Back to the facts... it's not referred to as a Named crystal... instead it is described as a lava-like lightsaber. That's all I have to say.

Star Wars has enough cool things of it's own... there is no reason to add a lava-like lightsaber.
If this new saber is nothing like a lava-saber... then please tell us what it is, because right now, this sounds like a BAD April Fool's Day joke several months off.
Change this idea before it goes into the game.
Save a little face, keep some integrity and spare us from having to witness such a butcher-job on something so legendary.
