umm, it depends really.

in the movies they willingly hunted dooku, they are always is searching for siths or bhs to kill, they willingly participated in pvp (and killed, and killed...)


i mean all this frs by pve could be done and i guess a couple of people will do 1000 quests (go there, speak with a mother in need, retrieve medicine, go back and finish) to get jedi master.


however i think the frs advancement should be much quicker by pvp. and master titles or the overlord title should be available only in pvp frs.


as you know doesn't matter much what i think though.

i just hope the frs will include an auto-balance thing to restrain from gankage. a free for all zone is out of question (see kessel).

this is why battlegrounds needs adjustment because otherwise its gankage.


no gankage means consensual instanced battles = mini pvp server


i still see a couple of you wondering around this idea without fully comprehend it. i guess you never played CS or Quake or even Starcraft.

there is no gankage in those games, at least forced gankage.

FRS should be a mini FPS game inside SWG.

Cannot argue that. That has been said on every PvsP Video Game made.

Any PvP Only bassed FRS system will just encourage the larger guilds with more jedi to have the higher ranks in teh FRS. That's the biggest problem with light jedi being a voting system of sorts, only the large guilds or the really famous jedi will ever get to be masters, where as the others will have to settle for just being knights.



I think that the FRS should enable much more risks, but make it both PvP and PvE. And add enough power to make increased risks worth it. LIke for example, if a BH kills you 3 times in a 1 month period while you are climbing the FRS, you have to start over(not from padawan, but you loose all FRS abilities)Also, you should get bonus's for abilities such as regain consiousness, like say you can die as many times as you like but every time you use this ability, it sets you back so and so far in FRS experience(or whatever youw ant to call it).

Also, using this idea. Since Battlefields are turned off and probably never to be turned on. Use the battlefields for FRS and those who are consensual use them.



And, to get FRS you need to face an opposing faction Jedi. So then larger guilds will not have higher FRS Rank.

OMG didnt evne think about that this would be a great way to put two things int othe game they promised with 1 stone

Have a FRS challenge term

And a Regular prof challenge Term

Also could work around it to make it so Jedis cant get into the reg prof ones to keep all the people saying they dont want jedis in the GCW...or matches that say "no jedi" or "Yes jedi"

imagine challenge terminals with cross-server access, pvp maps so you can add s specific map to the challenge, different setups for gear/starting stats, different requirements for teams...


i'm going to bed, it's better than talking to walls (swg, not you guys)

Messages are already crossover statuis. I see no reason why players can't crossover for Consenual PvsP if they can't find any players for FRS.

Yeah that would be good for some servers that arent as populated as others. Or for some servers that arent as active during certain times.

I dont understand why the FRS should be based on PVP. If jedi are suposed to be peacekepers why dont soe create a serie of constant changing situations wich our intervention grant us with dark/light frs points.


Of course when i say that i donr think of grinding quests/boxes. (!!!)

That would take far to much work....for SOE lol

They think it easier to just throw a PvP system in.... so far this is the best PvP system ive heard.

LOL that is provided for that more than 10% of the Online Gaming Community does PvsP.


90% of the Online Gaming Community is PvsE.
