Thread: FRS WILL WORK!
frs will work if they will make it consensual instanced battles.
don't have to be a genius to see this is the best solution.
a challenge terminal, you put your challenges up there like this for example:
-Gillette challenges any light jedi for 1v1
-Gillette's team (3) challenge any light jedi team of 3;
once you put your challenge up you have to stay prepared or logout.
now lets say a light jedi browses the challenge terminal, picks one of my challenges and clicks accept. assuming the challenges are active ONLY you or your entire team is online, once your challenge is accepted you and your foe (or your team and the opponents if you havea team challenge up and it gets accepted) are teleported to a nice pvp location (be that enclaves or exar-khun temple etc).
you fight, you win or lose but that's it you have fun. no ganks, no whining.
imagine that.
Note: after a second thought I think they could make these challenge terminalscross server. all they need is a pvp server for our battles. now that could be freakin awsome. and also would be nice to have different pvp maps so you could add the map to your challenge. somebody stop me.

That would indeed work. Smart thinking. But, should be used ofr Master only and have to win an X amount of PvsPbattles to get Master.
While Knight remains a Quest like Padawan.
Guardian is Quests like Village except for new Force Powers or Enhanced Powers and Saber Skills.

This somehow sounds like the way guild battles work in guild wars...
Anyway im not saying this isnt a good idea i actually LOVE this idea...
***** stars for you!
thanks, since its working on any fps i can't see why swg doesn't have to use it.
it's like making a cs server on a map for 8, 4v4 for example. it's simple and efficient.
every challengecould besuch a pvpserver. i don't want to write long posts cause you know, they are who they are. as for pvp maps, we would be very happy with flat sand zone with 1 structure for kiting. I mean we would be happy with anything anyway.
but consensual pvp is the best thing in the game industry.

Light Side Jedi are defenders of the peace, not soldiers.
I agree, Light side should be more PvE, with PvP against dark jedi.
Dark side should be PvP, against both light and dark jedi, after all dark jedi according to everything that is star wars are mostly power hungry and would just as soon fight each other as they would fight the Light jedi. The only time dark jedi don't fight each other is when they both believe that they have something to gain from the relationship. That being said, I should post a new FRS idea, i have some interesting idea's that could be fun.

Now that I would like.
Only Jedi can access it.
Enter in, you are "overt", ready to battle.
From some point of view it would be official fight clubs, but who care ?
