Thread: When jedi are removed from the GCW

I'll try to answer without flaming.
Jedi will be removed from the GCW the day CH, CM, and any profession using +Root+ will be removed as well. After all, a group with those professions have a HUGE advantage over a group without them. Heck, I think Smuggler should be the first profession removed after Jedi since they have uber crowdcontrol specials. I mean a group with a Smuggler will win if the other group does not have one.....so I guess that means Smuggler must be banned from joining the GCW as well then lol.
See how utterly stupid that sounds? Why does everyone not see if Jedi is a problem, then your group should go get Jedi to counter them just as they would say if Smuggler was a problem then your group should be out there looking for a Smuggler to join your group instead of whinning how uber Smugglers are.

Only those that oppose the Empire are criminals. Those that work for the Empire are allowed to enforce its will, and some even receive traninig from the Emperor himself.

A Jedi's grind is supposed to be hard. It's supposed to be long. It's supposed to be the hardest grind possible in the game. It's a tradeoff -- take longer and do it solo and don't worry about bounty hunters, or have it go quicker but get on the terms. Some do athird option and stand around healing people at random in the middle of crowded cities.
It's really absurd. Being a Jedi should be secretive. You are a criminal, you know...
What profession did you pick? With over 10,000 jedi in EP2, I don't recall seeing more than a few hundred killed between Ep2 and 3. Then Ben reset the coder to warn the rest to stay away....nothing said they all died...and it would be easy to see how they would continue training etc.

Oh and about the robes/saber in town though, thank the devs. "Gone are the days of Jedi in composite armor." I believe that's what was said. Equipping (or unequipping) either in front of PC's and NPC's gives you vis. Leaving them up doesn't. Thank your dev again.
Then again what could they do? BH were screaming about us wearing composite, so they put the robes in. If you are MLS you'd better have that saber equipped.

So what your saying is that you WANT to USE the abilites of the jedi to benefit you but you dont want jedi to be able to join your fight? Have youhad any jedi vs jedi fights? Have you seen how long it takes>? Its ridicules. There is no fun in jedi pvp at all its just a wait to see who runs out of force first, atleast with a non jedi there is a rush that you might or might not win.
If you take Jedi out of GWC content, you will have a game like any other. As long as you have jedi on both sides of a battle, you have balance. A group of Jedi with a group of Elite players is the most powerfull combination.
If your tired of getting Pwned, don't cry, strategize better...make some Jedi friends...prepare for battle, not just run into and expect to be Uber.
You get a group with a Jedi or two, a Smuggler, MCM, Rifles, CH, Carbineer, Pike, and even doctor....you will clean up on Theed. That's what the games about. In SWG, Han Solo and Luke and Chewbacca, and R2D2, and Leia all complimented each other and supported each other in battle. They didn't expect to just walk in to a herd of stormies and take them all out.
Jedi are cool to love or hate...without us the game would be lessened whether you can admit it or not.

Maybe you as a jedi are defensive, but me and those of my guild all work for the Emperor. We are all about keeping his rule and kicking the rear of all those that dare oppose him. Just because you want to crawl in a hole on some barren planet and hide doesn't mean the rest of us do. Jedi are apart of the GCW. It would not exist without us.
Actually, KJFett3, if the Emperor knew about you he would squash you. Maybe you should try learning more about the story before flaunting your ignorance.
Daadian, Please note: Jedi are defensive in nature, Dark Jedi are not. Dark jedi of this era had it bad. Everyone hunted them. The Empire, Bounty Hunters, Jedi, The rebellion...etc
We dark Jedi may align (As I do) with the empire in secret but if the Empire ever knew we were Dark Jedi we would be crushed.
