The negativity comes from the fact they're altering some game mechanics which have nothing to do with the expansion itself. If you like quests, exploringand such, the expansion does deliver. It excels in regards to art / music and the quests are fairly cool made. There are some annoying things, like there's bugs (as in creatures, not game bugs
) everywhere which frankly belong in EQ not in a sci-fi game, but overall it's pretty good.

No. The expansion has too many bugs and some of the mission are impossibly hard.
It's still in beta.
I mean the new expansion seems to have alot of jedi content, not jedi only content, but jedi content. Are we going to be able to participate in quests without ending up on the terminals or is it going to be as is, where after killing a few npc' a bounty hunter is going to come guns a blazing? Does any one know for sure? Any one heard anything they can share or has anyonetested it? It would just seem like a waste to buy the expansion for those that try to avoid being on the terminals if the entire expansion with all of its quests just put you on the terminals.

as a jedi are we going to be able to do missions with out fear of visibility from the npc's on mustafar or are the vis rules the same. I mean is the spirit of obi-wan going to give you vis if you have your ls and robes equiped when talking to him?
Honestly now, how do you do something, anything,in game and not get visibility ?

No, waste of money. It's going to be as buggy as ROTW. Judging from the nda being amended, I'd say not many people pre-ordered it. It's gonna flop like ROTW. Hopefully no one orders it, so the devs get a clear and concise message. FIX THE DAMN GAME, OR WE'RE GONE!

not only am i not buying the expansion im cancelling all my subs due to the complete idiocy that is our dev team atm.
whats goin to come is so totally unwanted and radically game breaking for many ,expect alot more to simply leave.
its not as if we havent given this game and soe every opportunity to do right by us,were simply tired of being lied too,and ignored at theyre every action
Any changes to game mechanics, skills, special attacks, etc. will go Live regardless of whether you buy the expansion or not.
Is the expansion worth $30 usd? I'm still on the fence about it, as the developers have admitted there are still things to be added to Mustafar. There's many schematics that have yet to be discovered, and there are NPCs in place that seem to be tied to quests that have yet to be implemented.
It's still in Beta testing, which means that things can still be added, changes to gameplay removed, etc.
