With the Nda being taken off, all the reports coming out of the expansion aren't really that great. What is the purpose for buying this expansion? I am kicking myself for buying RoTw, because it was filled with bugs and only had a handful of good loot. Any pro/con's to buying it? I would like to hear everyone's point of view.

I liked RotW, it did have a lot of bugs, and still does, but it came with JTL and had a lot of content. ToOW, is the same price has half the quests and no JTL, the only thing positive is the pre-order item, the house purchase item, and the yt-2400, aside from that I wouldnt be buying it, It's still way over priced IMO, should be a patch and not an expansion. I guess they have to pay the monkeys something.

So far, it doesn't have much going for it. However, I know the mood will strike me and I'll want pre-order items and the house, so I'll begrudgingly pony-up the money. You think SOE counts on that happening?

They know me too well. B*stards.

I am looking forward to the Horadric cube. I liked it in Diablo and I will probably like it in this game too.

Pre-order items are the only way they sell these damn expansions. Though...Buying Rotw just to sell my Barc probably wasnt the best idea...I coulda got more credits buying them on Ebay.

as a jedi are we going to be able to do missions with out fear of visibility from the npc's on mustafar or are the vis rules the same. I mean is the spirit of obi-wan going to give you vis if you have your ls and robes equiped when talking to him?

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.

I thought I was going to buy it but after reading about it I decided against it. Should have been a patch....Or worst case scenerio a $5.00 expansion....that comes with a cookie.

Im going to wait i bought SWG for £35 english

then i bought JTL £20

then ROTW £20

then i found out that JTL came free with ROTW so i lost money there

then they made the total experience which cost £20 and the state the game is in means i could have saved all this money and with the apception of jedi i could have done everything else i have done in game by now on a new toon

so ill wait because i think soe need people to buy this stuff that why they gave JTL with ROTW cos you cant get there without it

looking at the game now though i prefer my normal toon bh to my jedi i dont have to worry about BH and im just as much a threat in PVP

Game is going downhill they need the FRS to save it

Lets be honest thats why most of you guys are hangin on right
