That's the template that mcm/bh love. Heals arnt fast enough to keep up with their poison/disease.
IMO disease is bugged atm...
think he may have meant fire
To be on topic...
Im doing pretty well being mdef/ls 0442/enh. 3004/healer 4000...lost so far only 1 time to a bh...this was while a guildwar and his jedi-guildmates incapped me...he only did the db...against mbh/mcm who knows what to do and with a good equipment(high energy armor/ab sliced, good enhancers and stuff) there is imo only 1 thing....safe force...force him to use stims/bliel while kd´d....wait for the spice downer...go for the kill...Force-Spd.2 along with moshroom-pie(quest reward food) helps alot to encounter the spd.-debuff...

The absolute best template and impenetrable defense against BH's is dropping every box including novices. You, eventually, become immune to the terms due to being unable to use much, in any, force. Then you can take up a nice ranged profession that SWG is so happy to force on everyone.
well we know you cant handle jedi...
He asked for the best template agasint them. Beating them in combat them using Jedi skills is a different question.
Actually lol. take this from a BH, a Mpowers/Def 4040/enhancer 3402/healer 4000 can really and i mean really hurt. Powers may not be best for jedi Vs jedi combat but have top marks for Non Jedi marks (ill give you a clue, its got something to do with power's range.)
(all notes are in hope that someone will read this and actually LEARN how to use a template like this which is currently considured gimped for all and may actually put up a good fight)

Dam, are the devs trying to loose clients and run this game in the ground? I thought the idea of a game was fun and content.

Wow, I guess Ill stay with MLS/master rifleman/healer 4000 then. I already have +25 speed/accuracy shirt for rifleman so why not, lol. Plus my Laser Rifle makes my LS look like a lolly pop.
Aren't they making it so we can't use Force if we have a gun equipped?
they seams to work first off they have harder time to make it stick and if they do it wont last as long so they need to reimply it more offen =more mind cost
i have not used them myself, but i do make them on my chef alt, and they sell okay but not real fast. i'm curious myself as to how well they work, mainly about if the benefit is worth the filling on them. i've asked some customers that bought some to let me know how they do, but haven't gotten any reports back.

Anyone know how the poison/disease/fire resistance foods work against BH's? Would you have a decent chance with those foods/drinks and HEAL 4xxx ?
The main concern coming up is the Jedi will have to get lucky by way of the BH making a mistake (assuming the BH has a greater range than pistols yet stayed in the 32m zone) or just by way of the BH being clueless, because closing the gap at walking speed is not possible.
The Jedi's only hope is to get a wave or suppression on the BH before the BH gets back out of range. Of course that won't be possible if the Jedi is snared at a greater range than 32m in the first place.
Either way, these bragging blowhards that make up war stories about how uber they are will have to stop exaggerating and begin outright lying when they talk about how many BH's they've killed because Jedi will get real crappy real fast if this Beta junk goes through.
Not sure why no one has mentioned the one mastery that shines vs. BHs... MASTER POWERS. Go w/ something like MP/Hlr 4000/Def 0040/Enh 3404/LS 0404. Ya, you can still get killed, but you are a pain w/ choke.
Having said that... The best template is the one that works for you. Currently I'm MLS/Enh 3404/Hlr 4020/Pwrs 0400. Yes I can cloak and run (for the nxt 2wks) and yes I pick my fights, but I fight any BH that has high enough score to give me even 1 point. Personally I will prob go for MP when I return to Jedi in a few months (gonna drop it and grind some other profs, finish off all the badges). I hold onto MLS in some silly hope they'll realize it's got a "few" problems both w/ skill set and the weapon ingeneral.
Beyond template advise, I would make sure you always have the food staples on you for action/mind regen, health regen/bonus and dodge/block foods. And don't forget steak and ruby. Using stims is a great way to lessen the load on your mind pool. On the subject of stims, you need to watch your BH and then it comes down to timing... Things like waiting to KD him when his action is low, can allow an extra hit, also they can only use a stim on their backs, not innate heals. So you time things right, wait for them to pop a stim, and then armor break, KD, and lay into them. Make sure you also use acc foods. these will help make sure you don't miss something in your strategy. Make sure not to pass up situational opportunities. A BH attacks you at a lair, try to fight w/ your back to the Lair, had many a BH mess up and area, then have the whole lair attack him. It's not a fair fight, so don't kid yourself in that respect. You'll nvr get anywhere whining you were in a duel, grinding, pvping, etc.
I wish you well... I've had cloak for 7wks, and yes it's wonderful, but I've been 10+months w/o a BH death and prior I had builds like MP/MLS & MLS/MD (pre cu) and post CU an assortment of builds. It really comes down to knowing your build and weaknesses/stregnths w/ that build.
Always remember, it's the Bounty Hunters Job to hunt you, it's NOT you job to fight him, only survive. As the FRS has been put on hold, or killed, you gain nothing beyond pvp score points for killing them. Not worth the risk most of the time.
