not really. one of my alt was MCommando and had one of the best flamethrowers in the server pre-CU and still has one of the best. (not the best but one of the best) i have yet to find a flamethrower better then my. actually i havent found a better commando weapon either. proton rifle comes and was higher damage but flamethrower has elemental damage which makes it stronger then proton rifle and my flame is faster and both without slices
