Thread: Some new jedi help?

Thanks A LOT for all your time and help. I really appriciate it!

One question you did not answer though: What about novice brawler (and novice medic). Would it be worth dropping Master Bounty Hunter at this early stage, to get them. I would not not be CL80 any longer then. Tougher vs Jedi Hunters (if I for_some_stupid_reason should come to the terms), but better xp (or?). (somewhere I read I get +10% xp for each cl above me the creature is).

Any thoughts?

I'm thinking about dropping MBH and M Rifleman, and take TKM and Doctor 4000. This would probably lower my CL drastically (maybe 60 or something). Do you think it would be worth it? I get very good heals from Doc, and good defence from TKM, but lower CL.

Use www.bloodfin.org , get the character builder from this site. You can test out combo's to make sure you don't ever drop below the level 80 threshold. Longer at 80 the quicker the grind.

I highly suggest NOT dropping your CL level.

If you get hunted by a BH when you have very few jedi skills, the Xp loss can be made up in no time at all if your CL is high allowing you to maximize jedi xp per kill of a creature

Also do what a poster above stated. Go straight up jedi skills rather than get a bunch of low level skills. ie. get a spin or AOE first so LS 0040 or Powers 4000 (even though both area attacks are at 0020 and 2000 you want to go right to the top to keep your CL high).

Get three skills to the top. I recommend LS 0040 and Enh 0004 to start. Good luck and hope I made sense

Thanks for that advice Jakber. So, maybe I should just stick to my MBH M Rifle-temp. And start to take jedi from where I am now...

I would if I was you and use the bloodfin.org builder as you go. You can test out different things and watch your CL rise or drop at the same time. One can go all the way from FS XP template to full template jedi without dropping below CL80.

shoot for 0020 ls..2000 healer (or so)...1002 enhancer.(get force run1)...0020 defender...and maybe get some of the tech trees in lightsaber to for the start. then from there shoot for the template you want. I am finishing up my template, ive been mpowers once...mdefender once......and now im going MLS,Menhancer..4040 healer it will require skill to get used to but its loads of fun and versatille. You cant be a tank like a mdef but you can mess with people alot and rly make them angry which i always like to do hehe.

for keeping skills id go through them and find out what ones add up to the most melee/ranged defense...and keep those cuz that will be key for keeping u alive while u transition from your non-jedi skills to your jedi final temp. Im on gorath so i cant help ya much but on here. Good luck with the grind, be safe, may the force be with you.
