I don't think removing xp loss is the answer though lowering it a bit to maybe 1000 times every Jedi skill instead of 2000 would be more fit..that way it would only take 2 weeks to regrind it back and not a month lol
but seriously I hate it when people say "suck it up or stop playing Jedi" or "stay off the terms" people you guys do not need to make asses of yourselves I've been Jedi almost a year and am still not full temp (took a 6 month break do ya blame me?) but pre-CU I was never on the termsexcept ONCE and that was cause I was new and I was being stupid about it. Now even with no group vis you have people flying around or NPC's at your missions just waiting to give you vis NO MATTER WHAT AND NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE so it is almost impossible to avoid vis totally now that you cannot grind solo.
I personally love the aspect of the Jedi vs. BH fight even though xp loss imo is a little extreme and I am in no way able to beat MBH/MCM's but hey..I live with it and I keep grinding. I still have 1 whole mastery left and thats Master Powers (plus like 800k for 4000 Healing) and after that I'm so close to being done I'll stop caring but until then I keep at the grind no matter what butI shouldn't have to waste my life on it. I go to college full time and work 7 hours a day 5 days a week...I don't have 8 hours a day to waste on this game. I would agree a little with the original poster but not totally..at least lessen our xp loss if not..oh well just keep at it
you'll be full temp some day and you don't see me complaining about xp loss or anything even though I've been Jedi 11 months but am not full temp. Just keep at it..don't get discouraged and if you need a break then take a break and come back your account will still be here (barring some freak accident) and you can finish it out.

I really dont mind being hunted by Bh....my issue is simple numbers. The amount lost GREATLY outweighs the amount earned. I dont mind losing 200k xp but losing 200k and it taking a month to get back is a bit extreme.
Sorry.. It's not designed to be fair. The entire grind is supposed to be an uphill climb.

Since all it takes is someone walking by and most the time they see it they walk towards it like a moth to a lightbulb.
I'd say it isn't the jedi's fault.
well that is like before then keep your eye open all the time , be prepared on switch your wepon
it is all the jedi fault if he dont see any that moving up close or start flash his saber with npc around

if they take away the xp loss, they should instead initiate npc cl 100 combat drops every time you get visibility, so the empire could come and strike hard at the most inoppertune times...
there is a reason the xp loss is in, it's to avoid having jedi run around and flashing all the time, as in this timeline the jedi are supposed to be hidden. If there was no loss, then every jedi would flash, and then it would just be a pure lightshow...
you knew the danger when deciding to become jedi, learn to live with it... you have to pay to be stronger then everyone else.
If you want to avoid it, then don't flash... it's just that simple.
They really need to limit posting in the jedi forums to people that actually have jedi.

I dont remember asking it to be fair I simply pointed out some numbers. Please keep your comments to yourself......and dont give me the whole life isnt fair routine....This is a game, based on that simple fact we can come to these conclusions:its suppose to be fun, things that are fair are generally fun, things that are unfair are generally not fun. Simply put you cannot have Star Wars without Jedi. We didnt watch a movie about Lando Calrision why? Because he didnt have a lightsaber (although possibly a good womanizer, and a potential back stabber). Point being I like to play my Jedi, I stay off the terms, BUT I dont like the idea of losing a week or more worth of work. Thank you and have a nice day.

why? did i hit a sore spot?
no seriously, i'm working towards a jedi myself, and i plan to try to never hit the terminals... to always mind my visibility, and be like a real jedi, only use my skills when i need to do so. I go into this, knowing that if i do, i can loose alot of xp by being hunted by bounty hunters, and knowing that it will take a very long time for me to become a master... just like in the stories.

OOOOOOhhhh this is grammar school....well then its run-on to be correct. And if you would kindly get your grammar manual out, you will plainly see there was no RUN-ON.

Simple solution to this post. If a BH kills you thats it you are gone start your grind over.
