Thread: Anybody else getting annoyed at the guaranteed BH visit witnin 30mins of logging ?

it could behow the terminals work, when you log in maybe you go to the top of the list. or maybe the higher your visibility the nearer the front you appear on the terminals. most BHs now will just take the first jedi mission on the terminals to save time as the terminals give you no info about the jedi.
another possibility is that most jedi have a BH alt and will be out farming loot so there will be a lot less jedi on the terminals at any given point as they only show characters online.
edit: to the OP, are you grinding at the moment and if so, what? most jedi are grinding in spin groups against bols and pickets so will have minimal viz. if you're full temp and off doing missions or guild events against npcs then you will have much higher viz than the grinders.

Nope not griding at the min, finshed my temp, So therefore the higher Viz. It's Just getting boring, same fight different person.
hmm, like I said a lot of jedi are on their BH alts at the moment for the loot, i've noticed a distinct drop in the number of jedi on Chimaera and i big increase in the number of BHs in Kaadara who I don't recognise. between the low viz grinding jedi and lots playing their alt there migth only be 5 or 10 jedi on your server logged in with viz at any one time, hence the visits.

Anwser to a) currently changing faction, so prolly got both sides on me - and i don't know when relevant factions logon at what times etc, as to be honest i don't really pay much attention to that.
I guess it's because i'm probably unknown as a jedi since i kept myself to myself during the grind, so got to full temp with no interuption - now they don't know who i am and expect a low lvl ? (maybe lol)
when you log on at a point, where most players are offline, then your chance to get a BH increses (this is how i generate some visits for me.. i need content).
but i heared from some other jedi, the moment you log on and you have vis, you are on the first page of the terminal (because it refreshes very fast)

had two come for me last night (First ones). Am only L73 so sat in my house and had a rt cup of tea and sandwich.
lets see if they are still there tonight.

naaa, i dont get annoyed, the only reason i log on my jedi is to wait for and kill a BH or 5 
...then i log, otherwise its damn boring

This pretty much sums it up. The trick is to do some normal gaming where BH's really have to go out of their way to get you. I've been trying to learn the ins and outs of DWB...funny to see how many blue dots hang around the entrance when you're well inside only to get creamed by Battle Droids. I don't mind it at all...I go about my normal activities. I've faced a same faction BH while fighting a giant krayt (Funny to watch as you drag the krayt to the BH and watch his kinetic area attacks slice thru a BH's armor. Just AB/KD and watch the hilarity.I even faced a BH just seconds after finishing off a DJK...pretty much depleted of force and mind. But I still managed to kill the BH.
I guess the rule is...always be prepared for a BH showing up at the worst moment. Force Run is amazing to help buy some time to re-gather yourself. Always keep a full pack of stims, synthsteak,booster blue, and possibly ruby bliel ready at all times. And prioritize what you are fighting. If you are fighting a NPC while BH shows...determine if you can finish him off while holding off BH. Synthsteak is amazing for this purpose...it gave me the pause I needed to tank a Krayt and BH at the same time. Or you can FR to the point where NPC will drop aggro...leaving you alone with BH. To me, that's what makes the CU and new system more beautiful...there's a lot of strategy and adapting to your situation. I by no means am an uber-Jedi...but I've survived all my post-CUBH fights...just by thinking how I can use what skills I have to their fullest.

I have been getting the visits very quickly as well, unfortunately TOO quickly to be able to complete any of the content. It's impossible to finish Secrets of the Syren part III while in the avatar guard/blackscale jailer house fighting against 3 or more CL 82 elites when a BH comes in and takes potshots. As a full temp I don't need the XP and don't really rue its loss (though the new FRS could have something to do with XP so I am not really happy about it). However, this system DOES keep a jedi from experiencing the "content" in game.
Any jedi up for a large group to do this? I don't see how any of us can finish content with all of the SoE approved player griefing.

I've only logged on twice in the last two weeks. I was kinda hoping since there appeared to be very few people on that I would be one to get a visit. but I haven't seend a bh for me in 2 months. Half complain because it's the only content left for me and half happy because I hated getting hunted pre pub 19. Now that I can win, thye don't come. lol

maybe ask your Corro to find out exactly how the terminals work, or better yet ask our corro Tanks.
As far as greifing I think the new BH terminals are much farer than before as they prevent BHs from greifing individual jedi players. that said i don't like any players game time ruined by game dynamics, maybe they could change how quickly you appear on the terms when you log in. at the end of the day tho if you are one of the few jedi on your server with viz you're gonna continue to get the visits.

2 bh's came for me yesterdaymorning.(Havnt seena Bh in two months) Strange thing is: Bh #1 called a Draw and Bh #2I calledthe Draw. Must be the CU cause Ive never had this happen before...

It came to a point , that I saw a dot , and I cloaked, bounty Hunter starts yelling , come out and fight, I tell him the same thing I told the BH bofore him ( 15 minutes or so earlier ), Im not you content, please drop mission and move on.
I think its pretty sad the way the BH/jedi system is set up.
