Pre Cu Jedi

Pre Cu jedi usually say that they are all that and a bag o chips because they grinded "pre cu" surely they deserve respect because they had to grind more but when i see all these posts that say "your just not good enough to kill a bh with your saber you should just quit now" i say BS to that because all they had to do was go out kill a few krayts tune some of those pearls you got and your were fairly ready for pvp. Im not saying perfect 1337 s4uc3120 damage -.3 speed -9 fc im saying decent tunes so that a jedi could hold his own against players with. Im not saying that you guys are acting like you should be king of the universe and again all that and a bag o chips but you need to help the youngins to this game. With the stagering number of people leaving the game this is the time to band together and quit flaming eachother and ask SOE what is going on with our game

Post Cu Jedi

Post Cu jedi i have to say are a very whinney lot but they still deserve as much respect as everyone else. What Pre Cu did in xp these guys pay for in xp loss (less since thegroup vis patch)and the 45 mill for premium pearls(if u can find them). For those ofyou that say "They are village noobs who didnt have to a thing" these guys still had to grind out a serious chunk of xp to unlock, the only difference is they had a set path to walk as opose to hologrinders who had random profs to grind out which some people tore their hair out over if they had to master a bunch of crafting profs. They endure every nurf and "balance" SOE spits out of their Dev team that codes like a chicken with its head cut off. These little guys need our support if this game is going to continue on for a few years.

Thnx flame all you want on this one but all you will be showing is that you are the kind of people that are ripping this game apart

Who cares what the difference is between post and pre-cu jedi? We're all at the same point going through the same nerfs and dealing with the same issues. This is comming from a pre-cu ranked jedi, with a pre-nerf saber, and decent pearls. Am I in a better situation then a lot of jedi? Yes, do I believe I should be? No that's the way the devs made it.

I for one was a Holo grinder and a village grinder. I unlocked 2 weeks before CU went live. I applaud all Jedi that endure the "fixes" we receive. Everyone wines and complains at times and it is mostly those that can't get what they want. If it is a legitimate argument then fine but please keep your composure.Grinding is Grinding and if people thought Jedi would be easy once you got it your wrong. Jedi is the hardest grind in the game. (As it should be)

Only advice I can give right now is to take it as it comes and pray they "fix" the Jedi system. Jedi is not100% PvP, yet. You have that choice by becoming knight or not. Practice PvP with Melee professions before you go to Jedi. If your are already a Jedi practice PvP on Guild and/or frind MBH or Full templated Jedi. I for one haven't really had that much of a problem with BH so far. Most of my problems was with the fact that I was a Hybrid Jedi for so long. Once you hit 100% Jedi (not a full template) you will understand what i mean. Just don't plan on winning any PvP once your temp is done if you haven't practiced.

So many stupid people are still alive because it is illegal to kill them.
Anyone who says, "Trust Me" can not be trusted.
It is not what you are killing but what you are allowing to live.

wow i want to thank you for not slamming me hehe. i really like this game the friends ive made and still making. swg is the first game i have played mmorpg. i may het a little upset when killed but you know what now that i look at it i still like the game. i know there are others like me that do not like pvp, and like the content. i am trying to learn pvp atm in case i decide to go and try it. i do need better tunes but i make due with what i have. and my family in game have taught me pretty well in group events so i can hold my own in pve pretty well. not the greatest but i try hehe. again ty for not slamming me for my post. have fun and be safe out there.

Yeah, "professional" help in the form of counseling would be best.

Friends don't let friends grind Jedi.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

Such a narrow minded view of the subject. Let me make a few points.

  1. Everyone had the same oppourtunity to kill kryats..I didn't do it with my Jedi. I killed them with a Rifleman/Fencer. So this point is null

  2. You knew exactly what to do and could even map out a time frame. We did skill after skill looking for 1 secret..but oh wait..lies lies lies..there was 4 secret skills. Mucho luck, or like many younger pre-CU jedi..they did 28-30 skills.

  3. You didn't live through saber TEF that allowed a BH to agro you so him and his whole group could gank.

  4. You can grind in a group and get FULL XP. Go solo Rancors for 6 months then open your mouth.

  5. You dont loose XP from ALL death's including PvE ones. PvE XP loss is now turned OFF. Suck -200k each death.

  6. You don't deal with perma death. Death counts and waiting a week to play incse you do die again. Die too much and loose all skills, credits, and items.

So basically you think the only difference between the noobs and Knights are the sabers? Please, anyone who supports this poster wouldn't survive a week pre-CU. It was never the farming of leezerds that made us better than you. Its the fact that we survived what we did. you guys cry about a single BH...boooo hooooo and 90% of you run each and every time. You say the BH is more powerfull and that its sad. I say bring it, I'll destroy your retarded 7k energy resist armor.

Develope some courage, learn how to play your new skills and just deal with the fact none of your padawans will never beat a old skool 4444 Guardian. Sooner you admit you are inferior the sooner you will be on the path to recovery.

Any of you post CU younglings care to challenge this, I'm on the Shadowfire Server.

/tell Reiver and I'll come teach you your lessons.
