Thread: Pre Cu Jedi/Post CU jedi

Pre Cu Jedi


Pre Cu jedi usually say that they are all that and a bag o chips because they grinded "pre cu" surely they deserve respect because they had to grind more but when i see all these posts that say "your just not good enough to kill a bh with your saber you should just quit now" i say BS to that because all they had to do was go out kill a few krayts tune some of those pearls you got and your were fairly ready for pvp. Im not saying perfect 1337 s4uc3120 damage -.3 speed -9 fc im saying decent tunes so that a jedi could hold his own against players with. Im not saying that you guys are acting like you should be king of the universe and again all that and a bag o chips but you need to help the youngins to this game. With the stagering number of people leaving the game this is the time to band together and quit flaming eachother and ask SOE what is going on with our game


Post Cu Jedi


Post Cu jedi i have to say are a very whinney lot but they still deserve as much respect as everyone else. What Pre Cu did in xp these guys pay for in xp loss (less since thegroup vis patch)and the 45 mill for premium pearls(if u can find them). For those ofyou that say "They are village noobs who didnt have to a thing" these guys still had to grind out a serious chunk of xp to unlock, the only difference is they had a set path to walk as opose to hologrinders who had random profs to grind out which some people tore their hair out over if they had to master a bunch of crafting profs. They endure every nurf and "balance" SOE spits out of their Dev team that codes like a chicken with its head cut off. These little guys need our support if this game is going to continue on for a few years.


Thnx flame all you want on this one but all you will be showing is that you are the kind of people that are ripping this game apart

Hmm...I first became a jedi pre-cu and ground out a hybrid template that I had fun with. After the cu, I decided to become a full template. So I'm 50/50 pre/post. Does this mean I should argue with myself all the time and act like a skitzo?

i unlocked 5 days prior to the cu. i did not do the holo grind due to the fact that the professions picked were not what i wanted to do. i did how ever start the village quest day one it was launched. i spent everyday for 8 months grinding my exp to unlock. so i guess im a pre/cu jedi now. yes i have a crappy saber due to my not getting good tunes. but i do have fun while im playing , that is what matters having fun playing the game. oh and i do play kotor, jedi acadamy and others games too. have fun and be safe out there.

Persoanly I see plenty of whining coming form both sides of the CU. Generalizations like these are some of the biggest problems in the Jedi population.

Post CU jedu can farm pearls as much as we could, and you say they have more XP loss ? We had PvE and PvP Xp loss, with a 5 minute rez timer. This argument is getting old and I wish people would stop bringing it up.

ummmmmmmmm nope, i got jedi the first week of CU, i have an ok saber and no atachments.....i have an amazing template....and i own 90% of pre-cu jedi on bloodfin.....mostly because i know my template and how to pvp


sooo.....mmmmm nope both are equal...its about the player and how they play their template

<------ post revamp, pre-cu jedi. BH for the first year of gameplay permadeathed 2 jedi and proud of it. i played the game i wanted to... i got jedi when a path allowed me to do so without doing something i didn't want, like using macro express to grind while i lived my life outside the game.

You're SOE's "perfect" customer.


Honestly, it's not intended as a slam, but I think you are the"type" they are targeting.


Unfortunately for many, they don't have the same outlook on the game, but that is becuase they were dragged through the dirt for almost two years, beofre SOE finally figured out what thier target base was.


At any rate, I'm sure there are alot more like you, and those who don't "fit the mold", will soon be moving on.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

just unlocked 3 months ago and you know what ? no pre- cu or pre revamp jedi had it any harder than i did ..... we are ALL jedi we ALL grinded are asses off we ALL want whats best for or prof... so pre and post jedi **edit** and play the game.....it took me 1 year plus to unlock.


sorry for the rant but this isin a sense beating a dead horse.... no need to keep hitting it .


so sick of this stuupid debate and issue, whatever you want to call it .

And the funny thing is, ALL Jedi suck the same now, regardless of how you got there.
