Hmm. It seems like there are new threads all the time about BHs being too powerful. But then there are hordes of Jedi who post and say "Well, I kill every BH that comes after me, all the time, never lost a match, hit them so hard they fell into space, etc, etc."
Sooooo.... which one is it? Because there's these two completely opposite opinions being expressed on a daily basis on these forums.

Im wondering whats going on too'
most BH say they win 80% of their fights and Jedi say they win 90% of theirs, and every time any of them lose its only due to lag/bugs or exploiting oponment... the math here just doesn't add up

You also have to take into consideration the bhs wpn/food/armor vs jedis wpn/food/jedi armor. I'm pretty decent in pvp but cant hurt alot of bhs worth anythingcause my saber blows chunks.

Very few people will come on the boards and actively say they were owned, just like you dont see too many bios that say all the BH they were killed by or all the Jedi someone has been killed by. But people will come on and make out that they killed a BH in 10 seconds etc etc when what they mean is they killed a noob in 10 seconds who probably didnt even know what have his attacks were. Its best not to take too many of the Im the best PvP posts to heart cause if they were true there wouldnt be any BH left as they would have all found different professions to be, nor would you see BH with 84 jedi killed in their Bios. A higher ping rate is all it can take to lose to a BH without know whats happening as he hits you as your standing around waiting for everything to load.

Because most of the Jedi out there rely completely on Pearls (only the power users do not rely on pearls). Most of the post-cu pearls are simply not as good as pre-cu pearls. So, if you are a pre-cu jedi then you probably have nice pearls, and can deal alot of damage. If you are a post cu jedi, you are more than likely not using nice pearls, and have trouble dealing enough damage to compete in pvp. The comment about knowing about pvp (or not knowing about pvp) makes me laugh. All the knowledge in the world ain't gonna save you if you have a 500 max damage (cdef) saber. I know all the old school knights like to feel good about them selves, and like to think that they are better players than the post cu jedi, but the simple fact of the matter is, that the post cu jedi cannot compete due to the lack of "great" pearls.

lo,im a pre 9 jedi with a fair saber,and yes i do lose.

the BH has to know what hes doing, have the appropriate template, tactics, weapons, armour and buff/food to achieve this.

to certain BH's ive found no workaround yet but that will come.

are there issues atm that arent addressed which need to change in jedi sure as heck are.but none require a major nerf for BH.

most are lingering bugs ie force regen,knochdown/slide...knockdown/cant recover bugs....as well as a few broken states.

that being said, its a challenge to all concerned to learn the tactics of your opponents, and counter them successfully.its a fight which isnt just use the saber and win or lose theres alot goin on tactically that if you do not learn from will kill you as a jedi or a BH.

but the simplistic answers from supposed vets are also trivial as well.

there are issues with the currrent new crop leveling with sabers that can only be described as glorified training sabers of old.And yeah the respec crap did lesson the valiable experience need for the upand comming jedi crop.

but they do have hardships that cant be worked around simply,as the devs arent exactly doin alot about the pearl/crystal issues or the template inequalities, and arent exactly putting out anything anyone sane could label quality publishes of late.they spend most there time tracking down how they managed to break this that or the other.

all these thingsa add up to a very chaotic existance for the newer jedi, and many not so newer folks of any template profession.

it seems alot more like a classic example of the split between the havs and havnots to be honest.

And if your not rolling in cash as a jedi you had better get started as its a very expensive enterprise to say the least.

It depends, ive fought bh/m.cm who died before they could get a heal off and ive fought some bhs who drained my force, made me use a holo and then run. It depends on the bhs gear, especially if they have 8k+ recon (if you are a saber user) with 75% armor break slices.

I lost a couple to Mystery hotbar movement. Anyone been figthing and you go to click andthe hotbar just moves from 1 to #6 lol... Bad timing

That happens if you use a mouse wheel to zoom in or out while the cursor is too close to your hotbar. I've had that happen before even realizing what is happening and clicking to get back to the correct bar (with lag that can take a LONG time) CAN be the difference in the fight.

im 8-0 since completing my template. I am an avid grinder and i loveto pvp, I duel and practice with guildies daily. My saber is probably in the top 20% of saber power. I have changed my template 3 times and it doenst seem to matter. Whatever temp I use I still win. Add to that the fact that of the 8 I only think one was a season BH (the rest being very inexperienced) and thats where you get alot of posts from jedi saying they never lose. The percentages even out though. I bet over all its about 50-50. Its a combination of skill, experience, and plain old fashion luck of the draw.
