Just heard that while the game's so smooth running, SOE downgraded their cable and are now running the servers over a 56kbit/s modem. Fortunately they spent enough money to get one modem for each server. Not bad, huh..?

Was told by someone on the FarStar boards that he had 6 hours but rebooted and it went down to 30 mins. I've just done this and it's down to 50 mins though I dont know why that should effect my DL speed.


Anyway, if you get insane DL times, re-boot, see if that helps.

Its a bug with their time estimator. I would have taken 50 min anyway though it told you 6 hours. Been that way for ages. Oops.. im done... time to see how bad it is.

It's just overloaded servers and pushing the ToOW content. Whether you're ordering it or not, you'll have the files. Just need the $30 key to make it accessible.

The beta and pub 24 publish took me about 15-20 mins to download and install, be happy you aren't on dial-up!
