Well, the major reason is that jedi have demanded fights be one-on-one, and make the missions you get random. This has been made, mostly, fact now. As the only current profession in this game that we can hunt, and it being one-on-one, Bounty Hunters have felt that it should be on equal grounds. Also, as time has passed,grinding jedi has, frankly, become many many times easier than the old jedi grind, or even that of the old Bounty Hunter grind that some of us, like myself, experienced. While i believe that a finished template jedi should be stronger than a bounty hunter, these are atleast a few of the views of my brethren.

bh's have been asking for this for a while, we want to go through an extended grind. if the dev's ever implemented it i am sure you will still find reasons why you should be the only super class. perosnally, i feel that there should be a need for each class in the game. the combat upgrade was supposed to help out with that, however it has failed. all professions should have their strengths and weakness'. there shouldn't be just one great profession.

I became a Jedi... of course I have no life outside SWG. Only wish I devoted my time as BH. That wayI could have had a live, been the alpha class, kicked Jedi ass and still been able to have a RL. If only I knew then what I know now

jedi is long not b/c it is suppose to be "uber prof" but because it is suppose to be rare. I think bh should be harder to get to, but I don't think that would stop ppl. Just because you aren't good at pvp doesn't mean they should change things for you.

There are a lot of changes I think should happen, but to not name any besides I want to be uber b/c I spent time doing something I think is cool - that is pretty lame.

All I have to say is what's with all the jedi complaining about MBH/MCM beating them if they're so easy to beat? Sounds like there's just as many jedi whiners as bounty hunters, and yes I'm a bounty hunter, and will be a jedi in 2 weeks.

Actually Duedroth I did sacrifice a lot of my RL time. Wheter you feel sorry for me or not is not the point, the fact is, I made thatg sacrifice for a reason, and I expect some reward for it. When and only when you invest the time to become a Jedi in this game will you be qualified to post your oppinion on the subject. I like many got dazzled by the lights of becoming a Jedi. Call me a sad coont if you like, but I have no problems with that. The fact is, I am a SW fan, and if the reward wasnt Jedi and this wasnt Star Wars, I would even be wasting my time discussing this with you. It's just a damn shame SOE know this!.

Calel_Haven I have no sympathy for you for this reason, you made a sacrifice for what you perceived a jedi to be in this game "UBER" instead of realizing what SWG wanted Jedi to be in this game "challenging, barely worth the grind". Your logic is flawed, you fell into the trap of corporate BS, you did get rewarded for making the sacrifice things you have that I don't:

A Jedi
A Lightsaber
A FREE SECOND CHARACTER
An entire PVP ranking system coming out for only your class

So, don't sit here and complain that you got nothing for your Jedi grind in my book you got a heck of a lot, the last time I looked at my monthly bill it said $14.99 and I only have 1 character the last time I checked. Based on what you say I can make this argument, I started playing the game 3 weeks after launch before Jedi was in the game, I made the sacrifice of Beta testing SWG for the next year without any chance to be Jedi, all of us Vets should automatically get Jedi because we played for a year without the opportunity.

Here is the other problem, I don't know how old you are, but I will try to help you grasp this concept. It's simple SOE is a business and SWG is part of the Lucas Enterprise they are here to make money first and foremost. In SWG's case they have to keep you wanting to pay your subscription, they can only release content so fast, and people are only willing to pay for expansions so many times. Thier holy grail was Jedi at launch it was not in game, we played for almost a year without a chance to get Jedi (But we still paid our subscriptions because we knew it was coming), then the DEVS release the Holocron mess and give 1 away to any toon made before Dec. 1st (they announced this enough in advance to make sure people made toons on other servers to cross trade holos to get the 4 they needed, subscription paid). Now we had a way to get Jedi but it could require possibly 32 professions mastered to achieve I don't care how good you are at grinding that will take months (subscription paid), then they decide to do the village because the game is totally screwed by holos with people changing profs all the time and what not (subscription paid), they take out the FRS system because of "exploiting" effectively freezing Jedi at a maxed level with hopes of a fix to come (subscription paid), now getting Jedi is a long boring grind that you have to wait for 6 3 week cycles and do some boring meaningless quests, while killing bols and pickets over and over again (subscription paid for 6 months), BH's hunt Jedi and cause them to lose XP 450K worth that's a few hours of gameplay if not a few days for some people (subscription paid).

I don't know if you see where I am going with this, but first and foremost SWG gave you what they said they would you got a Jedi and a lightsaber, they never said you would be better than everyone else. Think about it, if you were better than all other profs in fights why would you go out and buy ToOW? Your going to buy the expansion and if SWG Devs say you have to grind 1 mill. xp per box and there are 48 boxes to get master, there are people that will do it, and all your forum posts complaining equal this to SWG (Subscription Paid).

I am not trying to flame you, so don't take it that way I am working on Jedi as well I am almost there, but I do it on my own time, I have more fun enjoying my friends in the game, and hunting Jedi and watching them rush to the boards to complain that they are not Uber. People sit and complain about there is no content, well if you have run every quest in the game then I will agree with you, but if you haven't even run 20 quests then it's your fault all you want to do is shoot bols all day long. This is why I tell people who's only goal is to be a Jedi to go out and buy KOTOR, KOTOR II, or Lego Star Wars you can be a Jedi very quickly and be quite Uber in those games. You get mad at BH's for getting good equipment and preparing for a fight, all that says to me is that you are scared of good PVP fighters, last time I checked Jedi's can eat food and have ways to prepare for battle, so why don't you focus on preparation instead of wanting the DEVS to ad 300 damage to your saber? If they did that effectively this game would become Jedi duels (pick your starport), because that's all you would do if every Jedi and Pre-Cu type Sabers.

P.S. - It's just a game going out and shooting hoops, seeing a movie, or anything other than SWG should take more of your time than this game. I am not telling you how to live your life, but you have control over what you do with your life, you don't have control over the DEVS at SOE, so dont' expect them to make the game be how you want it to.

ROFLMAO I masterd my friend in to MBH in5 hours yes 5 HOURS, it does NOT TAKE ANYMORE than 1 day...

how did i do it went out scouted for bases with no turrets, took agro he sliced we moved on invest bam done. other 3 noob trees, hes marksman so he has a aoe spin those in like 2 or 3 hours to finish. but wait the 360k combat xp???? lol chuck nades at 3 lairs and that is done to.
