Thread: Why do BH, a profession that can be mastered in 2 weeks assume they should pwn Jedi?

Seriously, I've been reading the BH forums for a while now, and all I see are BH moaning about how template A B and C managed to whoop their ass! I've posted a similar thread before, but I feel so gawd darm strongly about it I feel the need to post again.
I get MCM/MBH all the time and I can kill maybe the odd one who dont have the uber armor slice bacon with the uber gun, buffed to the puff, and sporting the fanfookingtastic food, but the rest seem so damb uber. I have cloak btw so yes I do have less defence, and YES, I do get flamed to hell when I use that skill to evade those morons.
I dont actually mind a decent fight, and I want it to be down to skill, but read the BH forums and you see them all whine about how hard we are to beat when in reality an experienced, MBH/MCH can kick our under powered g-strings into space.
C'mon folks, lets put this into perspective. Jedi = 1 year max. MBH/MCM = 2 weeks Min.
MAKE BH AS HARD AS JEDI TO OBTAIN IF THEY ARE TO BE ON THE SAME LEVEL!
I want my gawd darmn reward for the huge personal RL sacrifice I made to be a Jedi.
at the moment it's time / reward = hahahaha, thanks for the subscription!

if you made a huge personal RL sacrifice to obtain a Jedi instead of just doing it in your casual down/gaming time, then I feel very very sorry for your prioritization skills.

EG. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A JEDI BUT I FEEL QUALIFIED TO CRITICISE
Actually Duedroth I did sacrifice a lot of my RL time. Wheter you feel sorry for me or not is not the point, the fact is, I made thatg sacrifice for a reason, and I expect some reward for it. When and only when you invest the time to become a Jedi in this game will you be qualified to post your oppinion on the subject. I like many got dazzled by the lights of becoming a Jedi. Call me a sad coont if you like, but I have no problems with that. The fact is, I am a SW fan, and if the reward wasnt Jedi and this wasnt Star Wars, I would even be wasting my time discussing this with you. It's just a damn shame SOE know this!.

Jedi should be for those that have done everything else and want a more challenging game not an easier one. You should do the Jedi grind because you want to be a Jedi and live the hard life of an interesting Jedi character not because you want to be uber.

this discussion might hold water if everyone wanted to become a jedi. but unfortunately there are those who were captivated by bh's/smugglers/dancers, etc. so why should we all have to grind a profession that takes about 5 months to grind to be able to have fun. do not try to push your ideas on us. i think that every profession should have a long grind to make our professions earned. i am not too sure, but it sounds like you got beat by a bh and are a little angry.

Well, the major reason is that jedi have demanded fights be one-on-one, and make the missions you get random. This has been made, mostly, fact now. As the only current profession in this game that we can hunt, and it being one-on-one, Bounty Hunters have felt that it should be on equal grounds. Also, as time has passed,grinding jedi has, frankly, become many many times easier than the old jedi grind, or even that of the old Bounty Hunter grind that some of us, like myself, experienced. While i believe that a finished template jedi should be stronger than a bounty hunter, these are atleast a few of the views of my brethren.

This is also another point, some feel that jedi has become so easy and so numerousthat the little more of extra grind is simply for the right to have an Iconic Star Wars profession and extra slot, and that they deserve no extra power.

You might want to try to check people's forums signatures before you start talking about what they have/don't have in the game.

two weeks, you can finish most of that on satuday and sunday, with no prior investment. investigation is the only drag to mastering bh.

Your a whiner, thats all there is to it. If you don't like being a Jedi then delete your account and quit complaining.
