Thread: Why should Jedi fight bounty hunters?
it's not undignified to make a tactical retreat when you have nothing to gain and your opponent has nothing to lose.
and there is plenty of pvp available elsewhere for any bh who gets frustrated by that.

If a Jedi knows how to PvP he will fight every single time. The one who don't know how to fight stand around and ask: "Why should Jedi fight bounty hunters?"
Its alot more fun to play a non Jedi profession, I am glad they made the alt characters.
I'd never haveunlocked without that reward.

If you were the one being attacted when you least expected it, (or perhaps even AFK for the brief moment taking a leak). Ill bet the only reasonyou didn't curse the person out is because you just threw your keyboard across the room enragedat just the thought of spending the next day or two getting out of the XP hole you were just put in.
Honestly I don't know why the BH's do it. The payouts aren't enough to cover the expense of facing 1 full temp Jedi.
I guess it's just a matter of giving them something to do. But yeah, there's 0 incentive to stay and fight. and if your less than a full template, you'll just lose anyway, so better to run, hide. and stay alive.

I suppose If I didn't have a Job and a RL, I could very well do that every day. Happily I do,
But, I suppose if I could log in and get a buff and all my buddys just happen to be on line and want to spin with me right when i log on for the day. that just might be possible. Given I can afford to play more than 2 hours and things go just right.

If Jedi run away they win. Jedi are not soldiers. They are keepers of the peace.
Returing to win a war is more important then loosing a battle.

Sure there's gonna be the 25 bounty hunters that post here coming and telling me how I should stay off the terms, and how that's the price for being a Jedi, oppinion which I respected before, but when you have a level 60 padawan having to fight a level 80 bounty hunter, how can you tell them that? When you have a MBH/MCM after you dealing 1500 damage a second, how can you tell them that?

That argument would worked for me way back when I was 13 years old..and my hormones were out of wack. Now that I grew up I know that having nothing to gain, and exp to lose is simply bad buisness. If you get a thrill out fighting BH and are willing to put few hours of grinding on the line for no reward other then stroking your ego... then have fun. Some of us consider this foolish and dumb

Lol... are you trying to say that jedi who do not fight BH have no PVP L34t UBER OWNZ YOU SKILLZ. ? Should my mighty jedi heart skip a bit ? HAHA... Some people dont care for PVP, and do not think that knowing how to PVP makes you special... "From my experience" most hardcore PVP players make TERRIBLE JEDI !! No matter how many times you parrot "Jedi is a PVP profession" this is is still a SWG MMORPG and not SWG JEDI Quake.
Even if you like PVP, it should be Dark vs Light Jedi and not Jedi vs BH.
