Respec really was a mistake from the get-go. Sure they should have allowed it once, but people were abusing it left and right and now there are all sorts of Paddys that didnt earn crap and talk all sorts of smack afterwards.

Through the force things you will see, other places, the future, the past; old friends long gone.

Well if ways were built in to it to stop it being abused to level up faster then it would most definitly work.

In a way it would add to the longevity of the game and therfore give more subscription fees which is in SOEs interests right? I mean when they nerf a prof to high hell people can respec out instead of just cancelling and never coming back.

Maybe it would work better if it were limited to the amount you can have, paying for one with cash would work you know, like toon transfer service is done. or perhaps you could qualify for one everytime the patch notes state that your chosen prof has been hit with the nerfstick.

I like the idea of giving a respec with every major publish due to SOE always breaking or nerfing something.

Better yet just make it so when you unlock a skill box through grinding, then you can respec to that skill anytime you want.
