Respec really was a mistake from the get-go. Sure they should have allowed it once, but people were abusing it left and right and now there are all sorts of Paddys that didnt earn crap and talk all sorts of smack afterwards.

Through the force things you will see, other places, the future, the past; old friends long gone.

not just for jedi, i think jedi are pretty much where they want to be. but for all those canceled accounts of entertainers and docs and other professions.

i think a round of respecs every quarter would bring fun back to the game, let you try some other professions out without having to grind 3 new professions.

i have mastered every profession and every jedi skill, and i dont feel that anybody else should have to do this.

now understand, when i say respec, i mean box for box, same level for same level.

i not talking about the 2 1 boxes gets you a master saber box type of deal.

even trade for even trade is what i maen.

well, what do you think?

i just think it would bring more fun back into the game.

They should just make the Respec a 1 time vet award. Like the ADK so they can trade/sell. Just my 50 cents

Hell I'd go as far as paying RL money for a respec if it would save me 2 days of grinding whenever i re-templated.

This is actually a good idea, its not eliminating the grinding aspect, because youll still have to have ground something in order to respec it to another prof, but its just making template tweaking that little bit less tedious if you can try out a new prof every now and then.

I think about quitting so much in recent weeks simply because Im bored of my toon, Ive got enough xp to grind for my FS boxes as it is without having to regrind swordsman or do a total change to BH and have to do that damn investigations tree again, a token respec every few months would give us all a little vareity in our playstyle when the inevitable boredom sets in.

Maybe this should get re-posted in another forum as it should apply to all players

There should be a token respec with every publish with the huge changes they make, like most other online games which have a profession system.

Everytime they change something drasticyou should get a respec.

Sometimes I just think they change stuff in order for you to keep playing and regrinding templates all the time.

Hopfuly when FRS 2 comes out, Jedi will have a respec. No offense to the regular players. But regular professions arent that hard to grind

Yeah mundane profs dont take as long but its still annoying to have to do it all the time when your main reason for being in that prof gets the nerf bat. I need out of doc badly seeing as AB got nerfed and 2 lines of it dont do a damned thing, but by the time I re-grind it whos to say the next prof I go to isnt nerfed to hell.

Its not like this could keep us playing longer by not having respecs, if people are bored with their template they wont line SOEs pockets with cash by constantly re-grinding, theyll just quit like im verging on doing. We have enough with the FS and jedi grinds that this shouldnt be an issue.

I think, as a person who has had an Active account since June 03, I should get the option to respec every 12 hours forever

i would like everybody who thinks this is a good idea to go to the genaral game forums and sign on, and get other people you know to do the same.

i think it would be fun for everybody to change out their skill boxes quarterly to try out a different profession. i have mastered them all, and all jedi skills too.

most of you dont know what you are missing, and most of you have no idea the things that can be done with other professions, there are 30 professions in game besideds jedi and bh.

it would give people the oppurtunity when bored, or between pubs, to try something new out, or try the same things in a different way.

i for one fell that once you ground your 3 masters, you shouldnt have to grind after that. just every quarter change to something else if you like.

but i still think you shjould have to grind your initial 3 master boxes, it will also bring back diversity to the game. i cant see anything wrong with this.

and if anybody out there has ground more professions then me, i would value your opinion o n this. lol just joking.

games are suppose to be about fun, and i just think this would bring in some fun/confusion lol every 3 months, and give people the oppurtunity to try something else without it being a BAD thing.

right now everybody is bh or jedi anyway. what could it hurt?
