It makes sense to me, you shoot a spread out into the open, everyone should be affected, NEWBS included.

This means that any attack that misses its target should never pass through the head of someone else like it normally does. I was in wayfar the other day and saw random fire passing through my head.

If you make AOE attacks hit cloakers, it should affect EVERYONE no matter what. Otherwise it's total bias and doesn't stand to reason.

actually, thats a DAMN GOOD POINT!

If theyre going to make the argument that it should hit cloakers because they're physically there still then it should hit EVERYONE because they're physically there too.

would be nice if they made some pvp zones....if you enter, you know the potential consequences...unfortunatly....there are always a few that will kill just because they can, without any other reason, and as such, it becomes extremely difficult...street justice is hard to enforce.

The dev explained it and was right in his logic. AOE doesnt care if you are invisible or not. You arent thin air or a cloud - you are just hidden.

read about why it should attack everyone around too, if you want to use that logic.

It is not hitting cloakers by everyone that uses aoe it is hitting cloakers that are using cloak to hide from a bh that has your mission. they get hit because they are attackable by the bh. or they are overt and an opposite faction member is using aoe. it is because they are attackable.

but the logic was:

The Jedi is still physically there. You can't mind trick bullets.

So why aren't these bullets hitting other people that are also physically there?
