Some how I dont know how you guys do it my hats off to you for getting that far in Jedi first of all. Im only Novice every thing and 0020 saber and I have 600k in the bank for 0030. I don't know how you do it or manage to grind it out. I miss my friends very much I cant hunt with them at all. Ive been playing since launch and I find it disturbing to pay my $45 for the three accounts I got. I have the three choices.

A pay to Hide

B Exploit till I get caught and Booted

C Quit b/c I dont like the system that is currently set up.

But b/c Im a American and The Hell With Going Quitely in the Night and with my tale between my leggs. And with a profound belife when in doubt RAISE AS MUCH HELL AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE AND WHOOP AS MUCH AZZ AS YOU CAN TILL YOU CANT NO MORE. Thenand only then,at some point in the battle will Irealize that I made the rightchoice and leave this game with my head hi and can finaly cancel or be canceld. One or the other will happen. /Game Over

Just keep at it man. you only have 200k left till saber three. Saber three will lift some of the paoin of the grind off of you for awhile. But you face the toughest grind after that IMO, sabers four. do a session a day and take frequest brakes between and just go play with friends wity your alt or something. it will take about 10 to 16 sessions to get that last box. But ohhh once you get it its like candy. you can't get enough of the meaningless slaughter of countless critters. You can get a tier one box in a session, 300k per session becomes the standard, and your fast using that saber. its a must to have channel force, and at least the first box in rejuvination for the mind heal. You can supplement the rest with medi and stims. once you get that box, you will eat everything alive!!!!

1. You grind, grind, and grind just to start out weaker then a Novice Brawler?
Yes.

2. You pay monthy for the game, but if you want to make progress you need to hide?

Yes. If you are unlucky, you need to wait 3/4 of a billing period.

3. A BH can kill you multiple times daily if you get on the terminals, and this isnt griefing?

Not quite. It isnt considered griefing, its considered punishment. Also, aBH that hunts the same jedi over and over is by the rules of conduct considered harassment.

4. If you find a good spawn...it most likely gives you visibility. So you exploit that spawn and out xp the BH deaths? Possibly getting banned.
The harshness of the current system and the insane amount of xp you need cause some jedi to seek out theese spots.

5. You are the ONLY profession to lose xp to deaths of BH and cloning?

Yes.

6. You auto-clone after Crash to Desktop and lose xp?

Yes.

7. As a noob you cannot hunt down crystals, and they are going for ridiclous costs. So you need to lvl up a SECOND toon just to get them?

Yes. Frankly, I have no idea if I will even be able to afford to buy crystals, and I pray to god that the ones I have now will last until im done.

8. A BH doesnt need Mbh to hunt you...he needs investigation 3 then melee stacks?

Yes.

9. For pvp you almost need MLS even tho you may not want it? And ontop of that....I heard Force Powers doesnt give xp...so even if I wanted ohhhh say master powers/master defender/4004healer i couldnt unles i did 0040 min in Saber so I can lvl it?

Yes.

I am sure i can go on and on, but its beeting a dead horse really. I just would like some feedback as to is this stuff gonna be changed or am I doomed with the decision to either pay to hide, exploit, or quit?

If it was at least possible to hunt with friends, the Jedi grind would be far less stressful, and more fun. Also, I always vote for a change of the lightsaber tree. I cant get xp through healing people either. Some good jedi you are when you need to kill 8 million quenkers to go somewhere.

Anyone have any suggestions for a comprimise? What did you do to lvl Jedi? I dont want to be negative, as its not my style...but this is getting depressing. Any positive comments or advice would be appreciated.
The jedi profession have burned out many people so far. Some like it anyway and can cope with the negative sides. Once you hit Jedi Knight, the problems arent that great anymore. I have felt burned out a couple of times myself.

Besides that, I also have an annoying sig that looks like part of the post.

This doesn't bother me. I figure this part of making Jedi difficult and rare. I think this is how it should be. I think we should have a tough ride to get to the top because once a Jedi is there, they will have many advantages over a non-Jedi.

2. You pay monthy for the game, but if you want to make progress you need to hide?

I think this is probably one of the two things that I have the most problems with. I don't believe Jedi should be out in the middle of Theed showing off at all. I would never play that way. However, the sad fact is that to do anything and not get on the terminals, you have to do it all alone. It is kind of depressing, really. No guild hunts as a Jedi until you're a Knight and don't have to worry about xp loss, providing you know you'll never want to change your template. All combat is by yourself. And, while I'm the type of player that would never walk around in my robes because I'd want to RP a hidden Jedi, I would still like to bring a few close friends along during those months and months of playing alone.

3. A BH can kill you multiple times daily if you get on the terminals, and this isnt griefing?

Eh, again, I figure this is part of the tough road of being a Jedi.

4. If you find a good spawn...it most likely gives you visibility. So you exploit that spawn

and out xp the BH deaths? Possibly getting banned.

Well, I wouldn't do that. Not worth a banning.

5. You are the ONLY profession to lose xp to deaths of BH and cloning?

Again, I think this is fair. Part of being a Jedi.

6. You auto-clone after Crash to Desktop and lose xp?

Obviously, this sucks. And, every single Jedi who has lost experience due to SOE's incompetence relating to CTD should be compensated.

7. As a noob you cannot hunt down crystals, and they are going for ridiclous costs. So you need to lvl up a SECOND toon just to get them?

Well, I think this is part of being prepared. A Jedi wannabe knows what's in store for them if they've done the least bit of research. Get the crystals and stash the cash before you make Jedi Padawan. And, if all else fails, you *do* have that second slot to help you and don't have to rely on others for it if you don't want to.

8. A BH doesnt need Mbh to hunt you...he needs investigation 3 then melee stacks?

Don't have a problem with this either. In fact, I think every profession should be a little more viable without having to master.

9. For pvp you almost need MLS even tho you may not want it? And ontop of that....I heard Force Powers doesnt give xp...so even if I wanted ohhhh say master powers/master defender/4004healer i couldnt unles i did 0040 min in Saber so I can lvl it?

This is my 2nd big beef. Sure, I want a lightsaber. But, it sucks that you have no choice but to become Master LS just to survive. The devs revamped the system so that there would be variety in templates. Or at least, that's what was claimed. But, the truth is, there is no variety. There are obvious must haves such as MLS, healing, and enhancer skills, which leaves you *very* little to become unique if you want to stand half a chance in the FRS. And again, the FRS is the only viable way to go up in rank after Knight. Not to mention the fact that it might be against some light Jedi's moral code to go around killing Jedi all the time, even if they are dark. But, as it stands now, 75% of Jedi are going for pretty much the same template, and nobody can get past rank 3 or whatever because of the borked system. I would love to be able to be viable with a master powers/master healer template, but I can't. I suppose I could do that template just for fun, and play a support role, which I enjoy doing. But, I'll never have a chance of going past Jedi Knight. And, there's part of me that would like to take part in that as well. What's worse is that Jedi have already been given a lot of attention and revamp. The odds of Jedi being tweaked to make other types of templates viable in the next year is pretty much slim to none. I've always liked being unique. I've been dancing since launch. I've never been uber. But, I never had to be uber to be the best at what I do. Now, however, you have no choice. I realize Jedi is mainly PvP. But, because the system is set up as it is, there is no chance for a unique Jedi to be "the best" ever. So, it comes down to making a choice. Play strictly for fun, or try to advance. It's not an easy choice to make. And, because of the narrowly defined template that allows you to do so, everyone becomes the same. Again.
