So how much XP does it take to reach level 90?
ROFL , no **edit**.. lets see.. its abou 560k for lvl 81... right now, i'm level 26... it was about 35k at 25...its now abou 43k at level 26...... so by time its gotten to that level, i bet it increases a little over 100k each level

That also means they're not noticing any fall in people cancelling their accounts, either. Next, Smed can start explaining the empty servers most of us play on.

Notice this statement of him:
Mr. Smedley wrote:
(...) On the contrary, Galaxies continued to grow faster than any other title run by SOE (...)
To be honest, I would have been impressed if that line stated "SWG is among the top-5-growing MMOs out there". Saying its the fastest-growing SOE title is just admitting having a poor game. Of course SWG is better than the outdated EQ1, of course SWG is better than the EQ2 that is running in direct competition to WoW, DDO, DnL and all other fantasy MMORPGs. SWG is the only sci-fi MMORPG that has the Star Wars logo printed all over it.
If SWG would be performing well, there would be no need to risk losing the whole player base to push out NGE - companies only take this risk if the potential new customers outweigh the subscription losses. So the player base has to be pretty low, or they plan on getting 100k+ console subscription (which is wishful thinking).
As others pointed out, the veteran rewards dont cut the pie, the combat system is not enough FPS for FPS fans and too FPS for RPG fans, hardly any intention to buy the game because of that one.
The new content they designed stops at level 30 as far as I know. Above that, the game still suffers the same old lack of content - no post-Mastery things to do like FRS or GCW, for example.

I have quite alot of business experience with both game development and corporations, so I am very attuned to what he is saying. I believe he's alot more honest about the changes and underlying reasons than what's normal in this business.

and you even remotely agree with that bull**edit** he spewed about jedi?

I do not disagree with his post at all.
The main issue with NGE is the horrible interface, not the vision.
Some of the interview is even positive with regards to the future plans.
The only thing I do notentirely relate tois "There are a lot of different levels within that [profession], so the people who've been [working down the Jedi path] for a long time will be much more powerful than the people just coming up. We're still rewarding people for their loyalty over the years" since you can respec to Jedi after grinding a carbineer in less than 2 weeks.

yeah well i still think he's full of **edit**, i'd like to be more positive about this, but i'm being as optimistic as i can. i log in and from about every remaining person on my friends list,t hat hasn't already quit do to previous nerfs, they are all saying i'm quitting. its really sad. nothing is less fun then playing a boring game alone, its like being in a empty aol chat room.

I love how he downplayed the discontent of the majority of the people on the forums. You could make a list of issues right now and every profession would have something on there. Some with more than one.
