Not really a jedi urban legend but my fav has alwas been, "If I run around it makes them miss." Nothing bets trying to heal ur group mate while he keeps running out of range...lol

"Anyone can grind a Jedi in 14 days" is a good one.
"People who dont know the details are eBay or grinded too quick"
"Post-CU means you got your Jedi in 2-3 weeks due to respec and double xp"
"There are no risk while grinding Jedi anymore"
"There's a CU design behind all this" (such as "x1.5" or XY are created for "support")

I also think 1 is true
A buddy of mine went "saber waving" the day he got his training saber...just to test this. Mind you, this was pre-CU. He ran around CNet, which at the time was heavily populated at just about any time of the day. At any rate, no one came for him, and I know that a lot of BH's (no, not all, as I don't hate BH's) are bottom feeders and would have scooped him up in a second because he would have been low payout and more than likely, an easy mark.
Is this a myth? Probably. However it's an odd coincidence if nothing else. My thought is that you generate so little visibility as a new born Padawan that you can probably afford to get away with quite a bit of exposure. Didmy friend'sfirst BH come on "Day 8"? That I can't say, but I know it was a solid seven days and nothing had happened.
And as for the guy who made the "unbalanced gun touting gods..." comment...please. Guns still probably aren't as powerful as they should be (against stackers anyway), in my opinion, and this iscoming from someone often on the receiving end. The unbalance, and I'll continue to say it, is the Swordsman/TK/Doc stacker junk. One goal of the CU (so they say) was to eliminate the melee' stacker, which in my opinion was and still is a major balance issue. Now it's a "Heal" stacker mated to high melee' defense. It's just a different type of stacker now, so...I'm not sure anything was really resolved.
Sorry to have gone off on that little spiel there.

this actually used to be true though I don't believe that it still is. The accuracy mods used to be adjusted vs a moving target making it harder for them to hit(and you to hit them) if you were moving.

Change #9 to read Most non-Jedi hate Jedi and you'll be very close to the truth. Even Rangers hate Jedi, simply because they can't track a cloaked Jedi! (Personally, I think that's just a bug needing extermination, since even if you're cloaked you'd still leave footprints and scent.)
It's sad, really. Especially since I've not done anything to anyone, ever, that deserves thesort of ad hominem attacks, rampant generalizations, and outright hatred I see posted about Jedi in the SWG fora.
Jedi. the iconic figureof Star Wars myth and legend, and all those so-called Star Wars "fans" can do is findinfinite ways to blame everything wrong in SWG on Jedi players.

Hard to believe some of these are still being passed around.
