Thread: 750 max damage lightsaber in action/My observation of current combat system.

I have a 745max and a 1.22 mod speed "soon to be master LS again woo!". I never seem to have much of a problem at all UNLESS the BH has the right armor thus making me not hit them very hard. My latest example is my last BH encounter. I was getting ready to hit the nuetral vette and Ullyses "intrepid" came after me. We battled for a few minutesbut there was not a way I could come close to out damaging his healing and was soon out of action and shortly mind from him hitting me hard as well. After a few minutes I stasised him for the third time and shuttled to the vette before he hit me again. If not for this I would have died if not ran off.
Icannot rationalize with the logical reasoning between Jedi having a 6 second heal delay and a regularprofession not as it just doesnt logically make any sense!!
How can a Jedi be limiited from using the force when a player can shoot himself up with stims every second???
I am not calling for a NERF but since the devs keep pushing the word BALANCE around then they are not balancing things out very well.
I state that oneof the following pairs needs to happen in order to balance healing out:
1.) Make the entire 18 boxes worth of Jedi healer each have a speed modifier in it. You might actually start seeing Jedi Healers around...what a concept.
/ Novice 6 seconds / 40004 seconds / 44002.5 seconds / 44401.5 seconds / 4444 1.25 seconds / Master 1 second /
2.) Add a healing efficiency mod into all 18 boxes of Jedi Healer for a reduction to mind cost
/ Novice 100% of what it is now / 4000 80% / 4400 65% / 4440 55% / 4444 50% / Master 40% /
-=OR DO THE FOLLOWING=-
1.) Make combat medic fast at combat debuffing and such but make a combat medic not able to heal themselfes with Bocta Toss. Bacta Shot and personal stims should be all they can use on themselves.
2.)Add all healing except for bacta infusionfor a combat medic or doctoron the same timer and put a 4-6 second cooldown on healing. They have the ranged advantage and should be able to be effective if they have the correct gear.
I believe Bounty Hunters should be able to take out a full templeteJedi and they can in this present time with all the best stuff. I DO NOT agree with the devs bugging the hell out of Jedi and making it harder for everyone of us for not reason, it is offencive and just plain rude. They need to at least bringa balancebetween healingto get everyone by for now.
I'm with you. I mean even if they are going to keep CM the same .... atleast bring improved force sap in pair with CM debufss ..... I disagree with increasing healing rates ... remember we don't want a healing game. I was totally fine with the jedi heal fix, giving jedi 6secs timer again, however not only non-jedi get to heal 1700 every 2secs BUT they have more than 1 healing ablitity ...so their cooldowns are meaningless. Mind regens WAY too fast with all the buffs and spices around. I just don't see any logic behind this .... simply don't get it.
Also please note that on Naritus not a single jedi can defeat, I'm not another nub jedi pvper .....but I honestly can't do any damage to non-BH CMs. I'm not even complainning about BHs, but combat medic or doctor +a combat profession. They can have up to 8k energy resist + armor break debuff. I don't know ... just simply don't understand.

its not mcm's that are ruining their proffesion, its the others who take advantage of the mcm lines. if you are going to be a healer, be a healer. dont use the other proffesions as bonus advantages over other proffesions that can dabble...ie, jedi.
i eat CM's for breakfast..... with toast and grits... mmmm mmmm good.
Yeah i agree theres something stupid in that their Mind bar just does not go down while your Force i steadily depleting...
BUT.... pick your fights. Whenever i get a BH i make a great effort to find a more favorable environment to fight the BH. IF in a city, he can bank on going into a public building to finght me so i can draw him in close and reduce the 'too far away' lag when i start smackin him around, even tho i'm Standing on him.
If out in the wild i will head toward the roughest terrain i can fins... lots of hills and valleys are great. world structures such as old walls or wooded areas... anything that cuts out his ability to kite you...
And remember if you have em, to use your snare and root... As a MDEF i miss +root+ the most.
and FR is great for closing the gap once you lay that in.

I'm sorry are you saying non jedi should not be allowed to use all of there skill points on usefull things? That is what I am hearing.
Being diverse is not a crime.
Suggest they fix jedi before you suggest they break the rest of the game, please I would like to continue to have fun. (without hunting jedi that is, my choice)

Just a comment to those who think that just decreasing the timer between Jedi heals is beneficial--you'll just run out of force and mind all the faster. The cost of Jedi heals is severelyinhibiting, and that cannot be overlooked.
There are so many things in the game that are broken, it's very, very difficult to determine what's balanced and not balanced. It's impossible to balance a system that's broken. Everything first needs to be fixed, and then balancing implemented (and that's a lesser solution than having things balanced before putting them in in the first place--but clearly that was never in the cards) in our sadly still-experimental game.
Unfortunately for Jedi, we've been repeatedly "balanced" in a broken system.
Out of everyone that has posted here, you are one true pvper.
if you want to complain about that then how about mbh...we are just as screwed as you. if we go mcm, we lose dmg from picking up rifles/carbines or pistols. it's all about what type of player you see yourself as. let me ask you something....how do you do against non healers? i bet you can whoop them in a matter of seconds. well it's all about how you want to relocate your sp's.
if i wanted to hunt you as a mbh/mpistoleer cm 4/x/x/x i can guarantee you will outdamage my heals. so when they get rid of pre cu sabers, then maybe they can nerf the healers.
