Here's one for you all. We did this the other day to a BH that was grief-vising us. He had us on /follow and went afk. We separated to find out who he was attached to. Once we found out who it was, that person took the BH for a "little trip" to the DJMs (or whatever they are) on the island next to the MO on Dant. Poof! Dead BH, and we continued with our grinding.
If you don't want visibility, don't grind on Dantooine of all places.
Go away, troll. You get these BH no matter when planet you're on. Had them on Tatooine and Dath. You'll find out when you've played a while. Some BH just go out of their way to look for grind groups on ANY planet to vis-grief.
vis-grief? Hmm new word wow. Visibility + Griefing, its not really Griefing so your definition is off, its more like Visilbilty + Harassing if anything, or could be Visibility + Awe, who knows but your using the wrong term.
Here ya go, Noob. Webster's definition of Grief:
n.
1. A source of deep mental anguish.
2. Annoyance or frustration. (eg. Trying to follow their directions was nothing but grief.)
I'm pretty sure it falls under #2. Time for you to go back to school, eh?
charging 100 mil for a jetpack is griefing than by the community against 1 player who wants one but cant afford it then.. or spammers who piss you off while in theed...

its a bannable offense...but please go ahead and try it...
It is not a bannable offense so I can just stop you right there... I have been a BH for well over a year, I have hunted Jedi since droids didnt work... I have followed jedi around with /follow making them stop grinding because they said "You cant follow me its griefing and a bannable offense" So I told them to report me and I continued to follow them around and gain them vis.... did I ever get banned or warned? Nope I did not. It was what we called Collecting Information, back in the days when a BH actually needed Information on their marks....
Bottom line, all you carebear jedi need to zip it because you have it so easy now its unreal.

And it's actions like this that makes me feel the player bounty system is the worst idea ever implemented in this game. Because folks like Rave here feel it is a license to grief others.
It's your right to hunt your mark AFTER you have his mission, it is not your right to grief them onto the terms just so you can hunt them. BIG difference.
I'm amused when a member of a profession that can be mastered in 2-3 days tells a member of a profession that takes 15-18 weeks to even START grinding that they have it easy.
i understand how some young jedi do not like the visibility, but it is a part of the game play and was put there for this exact use... any player may stop to give you vis. it is his right to enhance his gameplay. he is not greifing you, you are a jedi and visibility comes with the territory. most people would tell you that it is a bad thing. but i myself am a jedi and trust me, when you finish your temp you will be looking for ways to get on the boards just for some action...
my best advice is to stay away from highly populated areas if this is something you do not want... I.E. Dantooine. my guess is that is where u were grinding, if so maybe a change of location might make u happier...
point being, stop crying. you are jedi, get used to the idea that people want you dead

There is nothing to stop you from telling your group to go somewhere else.
There is also nothing stopping them from following you iether.
This Point Is Irrelevant.
You really can't change the system anymore unless they just remove BH missions altogether.
Not true. They can change it lotsa ways. Maybe make it so player chars cannot cause visibility, just NPC chars.
Congrats, you just defeated the whole purpose, now you will have more Jedi Dueling in cities.
btw, why exactly are you afraid to die. Most spin groups will make up a non-completed templates lost xp within 30 mins.
Irrelevant. Many try to stay off of the terminals because theydon't want PvP. A case can be made that those trying to cause visibility is trying to force PvP on others non-consentually. This needs to be stopped.
When you took up the rank Padawan, you gave up the right to whine about "FORCED" PvP, by being a Jedi you acknowledge that a Bounty Hunter can attack you at anytime.

Heres and idea. Make it so the NPC cities and faction NPC's cause vis and nothing else. Example if youre standing around in Theed showing off you jediness you are going to quicly end up on the terminals. If youre showing off your jediness in the wilds infront of storm troopers or rebel commandos you are going to generate vis and end up on the terminals but at a less rate than showing off in a city.

It's funny to me at times when I read things like this. When Jedi grinded pre-cu they had 200k experiance loss from death to a nuna. Yet enough players complained so they removed it. Bounty Hunters were able to see the level of a targetand their name on the terminals. So the Jedi wined and it was changed. Among the other parts regarding hunting them. Tef's and so on. Somethings were shifted into the Bounty Hunter's favor and was swiftly removed of course because it was "Unfair". But the age old "Vis" which Jedi have always had the risk of because you are a Jedi and are the enemy of the Empire and in my opinion a welcomed consequence for the abilities when finished template.
Of course then there are the sabers. "OMG my saber sucks and those older Jedi have uber sabers. Nerf theirs and make mine stronger... It's unfair." Yes oh no the Jedi is not uber because they're starting out and need to find the perfect tunes to make a decent saber. Guess what it's easily fixed if they let premiums drop again but still the cry to nerf the last bit that makes a Pre-CU Jedi have a slight advantage grinding from the old system. Jedi now can grind in groups without generating Vis. If you all had to grind as Jedi did not even a year ago you would be crying buckets but Jedi did it day and night. They had no defense but dodge food and saber block. They had to pay doctor's for buffs every time they leveled and depending were lucky enough to get 100k xp per hour with MLS. The grind to MLS could takea month in it'self if grinded fairly steadily. Yet they are the ones who have to be nerfed to make it easier for all the Jedi just starting out now.
Everything has to be nerfed to make all these new Jedi have an easier life than the life other Jedi have had before many of these new jedi even started playing SWG.
Rant over
