Yes it is a good post, only there is there is MORE UGLY THEN GOOD.
-Lightning hits for about 650, when my MLS with LS= 900 with specials and no charge up time
-You can heavy amounts of damage from everyone, and are constantly healing instead of doing damage!.
-Force armor is good? I think not, if you leave it on your force will be near empty after they start attacking you!.
-Choke is a JOKE, Infusion the heal over time out heals this skill, meaning it does NO DAMAGE.
-Breach has a 50% chance to land, and when it does the jedi just REAPPLYS their buffs.
I'm not even going to talk about this class anymore, Mpowers is a joke everyone knows it. ANY jedi will outlast you anytime in a fight, and almost any non-jedi can whoop you badly.

He's actually addressed all of this in his post making exactly the same points himself and has explained how the template can be used, very effectively it seems, in grouped PvP and PvE. Only point you have made which I feel the poster might not have put enough emphasis on is the force armour, however I've no experience of the ability to make my own judgement.

I only put a SMALL amount of things that is WRONG with the mpowers class. If you read this it tempts you to become one, I tried it yesterday and the damage is so bad, how fast you die, everything is forcing me to either cancel account or try to get it rolled back to 2 nights ago I hope.

Very true, maybe I should have put more emphasis on force armor. it is good as it will prevent you from dying, but nowhere does it compare to defender protections. Force armor is a huge force hog right now and hopefully the damage-to-force will be improved so it does not consume as much. Besides, I never stay in place long enough to get pounded. I already said this is not a tank. If you wanna tank, get defender. Force armor is good enough to protect you when you get it. Try turning it off and you'll die fast if more than 1 thing hits you. At least the template has max force at 6950 since it's a double master with 2 full lines.
I find it funny MPowers is still called a joke after everything I have posted. It's a joke if you play the same way you played a MLS/MD. That is what i played before, I changed, learned and adapted.

I got the impression you were saying those things needed to be added, for that I apologise. Perhaps more emphasis needs to be placed on the poor abilities of this template solo however it does sound very fun in groups to me. Hopefully the coming changes to force choke and the force costs of powers will help in the solo department

I get the impression that it still is a joke (compared to any MLS or MD template) when solo but it does sound like the best support/group template by a long shot. I don't think many people enjoy that role or are able to play it well. I love playing Mpistoleer/Msmuggler and controlling my target so I think this could be the template for me.

Learn to play it well, use my advice, and you 'll realize there are not many things you cannot do.
Remember to never be passive in combat, you have to calculate what to use at the right moment. Forget spamming like a MLS/MD and tanking damage. You'll die.
I PvP'd with my guild last night and died twice. Once when my Internet connection dropped and went LD, the other when I was ganged on by 3 jedi who were tired of me applying stasis and sap on everyone. I tried to run but did not make it this time. often I do, but I'm not invincible. They all bowed to my skills and effectiveness in the battle afterwards though. It's a lot of fun to play!

Seems more boring then fun.
In group PVP you're not even doing that much damage, your just applying debuffs to the enemies....

Are groups of people just applying damage not simply a collection of "solo" templates combining their DPS?

When you kill someone though it gets your adrenaline going, knowing that you took him out.
With this template you simpy think wow all I did was prevent him from doing more damage.

I agree it does although I get equal enjoyment from a support role. Different templates fit different playstyles.
