tried again last night.. and no amazing on exp or on assembly.. sitting in a research center on a 44.95 station with a 14.97 tool, best ressources on the server! 15 pyollian cake and 24 bespin port and a 12 pt exp suit! now i do exp 1 box at a time and i do drink 1 bespin pr box so every box should have the max points for getting an amazing but only great comes out. i tried with and with out entertainer buffs and still the same thing

i am in the process of regrinding my temp (banking xp for the conversion) but keeping MLS so what i am going to try is to get novice Artisan, get an artisan bonus buff and then try to craft a new saber before i assign my self to my new skills (btw atm i am full temp.. i will drop those boxes i dont need get novice artisan test it and then train in my new boxes)

on one handed and two handed i get these base stats on exp.

damage 27

eff. 28

speed 27

on dubblebladed i get

dam 27

eff 28

speed 28

weird huh??

One thing people can do if they don't have access to a private crafting station in a research city is just go to any research city and check houses with vendors. Some of those houses will have a crafting station in them which you can use as if it were your own. They are private crafting stations, but since there are vendors in the house, the house must be public and that makes the crafting station open for anyone to use. You can't access the station hopper though, but you don't need that anyway.

For the amazing assemblies, I think there is some confusion about them. crafting is all about the quality of your resources. If you have the best resources to ever spawn on your server and the stats are very high on them, an amazing assembly won't show up because your resources are so good, you've already hit the cap on assembly. If you use a resource with lower stats and get an amazing assembly, you should see a small increase. So if your already getting 28 or 29 percent on assembly with just a great assembly, you are already hitting the highest value you can. An amazing assembly won't do anything for you.

For those that's getting 28%, you probably don't have the best resources (maybe one or more of your resources is a little low in stats)....although you may have the best resources that have every spawned on your server, it can get better, you just have to wait for the better resource to spawn.

I do believe that 30% is the max you can get on assembly, but you need 100% perfect resources to get that. Anything less than 100% perfect resources will get you a lower value on assembly. The typical values are 28% or 29%. Some servers just don't have the resources to hit 29% and some do.

So for all those people out there trying to get an amazing assembly when you already hit 28 or 29 percent without an amazing success, you more than likely have already hit the highest percentage your resources will allow.

It's the same thing with maxing a line of experimentation. You may have enough points to fill line 100%, but the quality of the resource will only allow you to get a specific amount.

For example, if your resource quaility only allows you to get a max experimentation of 97% on a line and you have 92% on that line already but still have 1 or more points left to experiment with. Although 1 point of experimentation gives 7%, you won't get 99% experimentation on that line, you'd only get 3% of that last point giving you the max of 95% because your resource quality will not allow you to go any higher than 95%.

As far as how often you get an amazing assembly or an amazing success, I really don't know what the deal is with that. All I know is I have to try between 10 - 15 times before I get an amazing on experimentation and maybe 50 or more times before I get an amazing assembly. Using all the foods and bonuses we get can increase the chance of getting amazings, but if you already used the max resources on your server (which should get you near 97%, then an amazing assembly won't do you any good at all. So no need to even try for it.

The amazing assemblies benefit players who are using average or just good resources which don't come close to the cap. If these type of people get an amazing assembly, they may see an increase. Say for example, if they get 25% getting great assemblies, an amazing might get them 25%, possibly even 26% depending on the hidden decimels.

Just remember, the better your resources are, the less likely any amazing assembly will show an increase for you.

oki guys heres the prob.. trying to craft my self a new saber.. used to be quite simple right.. but now i have tried to craft 50+ sabers and no AMAZING succes on asembly... now i find this weird since i am MLS and eat +15 pylonian cake and even got the damn buff that everyone says doesn't work... how come.. ARGH

any comments anyone??

I've found the same thing. About 75 experiments , using all the best stuff, and only ONE amazing experiment.

And before people tell me its natural, let me say that I made sabers before and would get an Amazing with the SAME STUFF, about 5-7 of the 10 experiments. Now I get NOTHING!

My friend tried too, and he got none also.

BTW, is Luck one of your FStrees? Just trying to think if its something we dont know if its working or not.

I have Amazing Successes, prob once every 20, and I dont work through a research center.

Although, I have never had a Critical Success, which I'm lead to believe is better.

I do believe the devs may have done a stealth nerf of amazing successes around the time they changed the entertainer buffs. I do recall getting lots of amazings at one point, now they are few and far inbetween. I just got 6 in about 35 - 40 tries today. Only got2 amazing assembly though. However, this is not in a research city. I acutally don't use research cities because I haven't seen it work that great for me. I see a tiny increase, but nothing that I can't get with a inspiration buff.

Once I get the village crafting tool and switch my ranged FS skills to experimentation, then maybe I might see better results. So far though, using the best resources on ahazi, it's hard to get any increase because our resources are probably near 95 - 97% perfect

Well the problem here is that most of the time u either have to take a chance on getting an amazing attempts while using alot of pts or while using small amount of pts at a time both ways can work but i would rather prefer to get 7 pts in eff. on my saber and maybe get an amazing succes then spend the rest on spd and damage and if u are crazy lucky maybe get an amazing attempt there hehe but i guess that will never happen

That's becuase the resources your using will not allow you to get any higher. You are capped on your assembly now. Only way to get 29% is to get better resources. Only way to get 30% (if it's even possible) is to have 100% quality resources. Since it is unlikely we will ever see all the resources perfect, noone is gonna reach 30% on assembly. What your are getting is about top of the line, although the 27 you get tells me that one of your resources is very low in a key stat.

Some really nice answers on this post. I often wonder why my great and amazings sabers seem to have the same stats and why the benefits of experimentation seem to cap at a certain value. I do use server best (Bloodfin) resources, crafting tool is 15.00, Weap Station 44.5, Ent buff, Food buffs. Whether I am in a city or not, the results seem to be the same. I get 28 29 28 no matter if it is amazing or great, no matter if I am in a research city or not. I just thought it was a bug, at least now I can stop trying, it was driving me crazy at one point. Thanks all!!!
