Thread: Is amazing succes even possible anymore??

oki guys heres the prob.. trying to craft my self a new saber.. used to be quite simple right.. but now i have tried to craft 50+ sabers and no AMAZING succes on asembly... now i find this weird since i am MLS and eat +15 pylonian cake and even got the damn buff that everyone says doesn't work... how come.. ARGH
any comments anyone??

i have crafted last week a new saber and i got a amzing succes on assembly.. did you tried a research center?

i have crafted last week a new saber and i got a amzing succes on assembly.. did you tried a research center?
Anyone have a list of research center cities that have a public weapons crafting tool? Or do you even need to bother with those weapons crafting tools anymore to get a good saber? The last sabers I crafted were pre-CURB.

it takes awhile sometimes to get amazing's on assembly. As a chef i dont worry about it to much but i have noticed its about 1 in 20-30 crafts i get one ( i dont use the buff i crit fail ALOT more with it)

My sabers are identical no matter if its a great success or amazing success on assembly .Same goes with experimentation.Sabers are identical no matter if I have 10straight great success points or lets say 3amazing and 7great (maybe the difference is 0.1less fc etc) but the end result tends to be identical

this is where those jedi with FS crafting skills have a huge advantage - i get amazings every 2 trys off a 15,.00 tool - and even then if you got the crafting unlocks you can get the critical sucess tool that gaurentees critical successes (even better than amazings)

i got a brand new LS exp suit (+20) . . . sat down for a craftign session and couldnt get an amazing success. . . i treid 30 times and never got it...

it took me awhile but I finally got the amazing...the problem is you will not see much difference in saber stats from a good and an amazing....but I guess every little bit helps...

go to the mall in New Hesperia on Talus. They have one. There is also one in Tor Vella on corellia in the city hall.
I do not think quality on the station matters at all. I get the same results with a -10 station as a 14.8 station.

on my assembly i am getting the folllwing percentages:

I was hoping for an amazing to get the damage percentage a little higher....i would settle for ANY of them to be higher

Maybe I got extremely lucky last week, but I crafted 3 sabers and got 1 great success and 2 amazings. Each time I experimented with a 15.0 lightsaber crafting tool in a city with a research bonus and a public crafting tool (didn't even check the stats on the public machine) and took bespine port.
I used all the experimentation points at the same time and my failure chance was 0%. I had the xxx4 tree from saber and was not wearing any experimentation clothing. First I crafter a saber putting all into efficiency and got a great. Then into dmg and got an amazing. Last, just to see how much of an effect it had I made one with all speed experimentation and got another amazing. Those were all I crafted since I'm kind of new to jedi and didn't really know what I would need once I finish my template, but I use the efficiency one right now.
btw, is there a benifit to experimenting one box at a time? I would think that if you got 1 amazing using all the boxes that would be better than getting 4 amazings and 6 greats 1 at a time, but like I said I'm new to jedi and I have always been combat so no crafting.

I crafted 5 new ones last night an got Amazing success on all. Sorry for our loss bro, sounds like the notorious SOE has struck again with a new player specific bug /shrug
