Thread: Same faction hunting..your views

If I had a BH again like I did on my other server, I wouldn't faction simply for the fact thats they way I think it should be and they way I'd prefer it. You avoid situations like this. BUT, if I did for some strange reason decide to faction, no I would likely not hunt same faction Jedis. But, it wouldn't much bother me if someone else did, I think its a personal decision.

Surely there were traitors/spies on both sides of the GCW, I just think of them as roleplaying a traitor or maybe a spy.
BH's can and should, IMO, do whatever it takes to kill their mark. They kill people for their profession, I would expect nothing else (and I would do whatever it takes if I were one).
I would say 25% of my BH fights are same faction.
I also agree that if someone same faction hunts that people should use in game mechanics to, as the original poster alluded to, ban them from cities, shops, etc. I would talk with their guild leaders before throwing a ban on the whole guild.
In the end they pay the $$$ to play, they can do what they want. Within, of course, the strongly enforced EULA

sorry but so long as jedi act like scared little girl scouts and run into faction bases then you really shouldnt cry when bh goes same faction to get at you. it is only doing what they need to do to hunt.

/shrug. I get just as jumpy when I see a purple dot coming at meas a blue one. It's up to the individual BH and how they want to roleplay being a hired hitman/mercenary IMO.

Once a BH chooses a faction, they shouldn't be allowed to hunt Jedi of their own faction. It doesn't make any sense to kill someone of your own faction in the GCW, unless they are RP'ing as ''spies.''

what in this game has made sence to date?
ships that are 20 years outta date are vastly better to new models, jedi in every star port dueling, a dwb on endor or gennosians on yavin.
asking for things to make sence in this game might be more then even your jedi forums can do.

Most BH's pick a faction that they want to hunt then join that faction just for the hope of the additional element of surprise. I think a simple solution is that they should lose 500 faction points whenever they kill someone on their faction.

what if they land a DB on you when you're PvPing?..does it bother you then?,not being sarcastic just curious
To be honest its never happened and I dont pvp alot so hope that answers ur question

It is a personal choice. Now granted, it would make more sense to me if a BH either went Imperial, or Neutral. Rebel BH just seems out of context. Ya know what I mean. But then, the world takes all kinds.

griefer.. yes im sad that you feel this way about same faction bounties. but no.. a bounty hunter can hunt whoever the h*ll they want. they are bounty hunters for sneaky underhanded moves to get credits. either they thought they could get credits from killing you. and about the city bans... STOP GRIEFING.. damn.. almost as bad as that anakin skywalker from episode one, whiner. sheesh.. no wonder why i get annoyed so often.

Guild n i do it all the time lmao, so funny , so much e-drama. Got a fraps vid coming out , we sometimes even kill eachother , ofcourse when there is no pvp lol which is 99% of the time now

griefer?..are you out of your tiny mind?,how is me insuring that this players identity is well known to other rebel guilds so he doesnt kill their jedi griefing?..its called protecting your own not griefing
and as for that last comment,trust me i know exactly how you feel!
