The changes to jedi FC / AC are relevant though; I think TH was jsut referring to the FRS/Pearls questions. I have yet to seean 'official' response to teh FC/AC/Snare/Debuff issues
That is his fault for generalizing for all three questions. As he has done so I will assume he meant it for all three. He could have easily been specific about the third one, instead he left it at that and thus makes the community assume it is what he was referring to as well.
He said NONE OF THESE ITEMS, and the third is what we are refering to. The NERFS!

He could have phrased it differently then, could have said ex. the frs and pearl/crystal drops have nothing to do with beta as for the nerfs/changes etc they will be discussed, wasjust very poorly worded

None of these items are part of the ToW beta test.
We understand that these are important issues and we will discuss them with the community at some point, but not at this time and not on these forums.
Please keep discussions focused on the ToW Beta Test.

What's peculiar about this is that some pretty heavy duty changes are being made to the Commando and Creature Handler Professions and they are being rolled into the BETA forums and the TC2 patches. In addition, there have been at least two rounds of nerfs (The AI nerf, additional action costs to healing, etc.) to Jedi.
Guarr posted a thread stating concerns about the nerfs which has gone unanswered as well.
What I like was the part about Pearls being game breaking lol...
Yeah, real funny huh. I can buy a weapon off of the bazaar for my other characters but I'm told to shut up and wait on the character that costs 450 million XP. Real funny indeed.
Please-- don't tell me about XP I changed my template 4 times PRE CU and grinded out of my -10 mill hole- spare me what costs are, expenses and loss-- Pearls and the state of them is not game breaking.
There is crystals out there that tune decent so at least you have somthing to do. So that you know it takes about 120 or so tunes to get 4 damn near perfect tunes from pearls so its not it would be a lay down for you to get perfects, learn and adapt that is Jedi in this game more then anything at this point.
Now listen, I hate telling you this but by far loot drops in a whole are broke-- but please dont say the non pearl drops are game breaking. That is not true at all.
I have no idea what you're talking about on this one. Everybody knows about the other loot drops. What does that have to do with my post?
I am talking about the entire Loot Tables being a train wreck, not just Pearls off of a Krayt Dragon. This has alot to do with your post in the main sense that ALL LOOT is messed up hence the nice vest I got off a level 111 the other night. I'm sorry if you did not know this.
The Knight trials were the old ones... I know alot of the people may not have known this due to only a few of us have been lucky enough to have our Jedi in most of the betas -- I do respect it that I have and give feedback privately. I can tell you that there is more to all of these things then you know right now Im sure but soon we will get the info we need and at least you can love it or leave it. Do what TH says and you will be alot better off though. I fiugred that out after the beta of the game itself.
Not sure about all of that. We are the ones paying here. They are making a video game not ICBMS. It's not a matter of National Security. They are just afraid to talk about what's going on for fear of even more people quitting. 75% of the players who have purchased SWG have since quit. I wonder why ^^.
In this game the one thing that I have seen is if you give a inch the players will take a mile and make up that road that its on all on thier own. I have seen so many things get messed up and the people that need to be thanked most of the time are the player BASE..
Now then please do not missunderstand, I have played since beta of the game and have seen more bugs then you can imagine but I have also seen players mess up a good thing countless times. 75% of SWGs player base has not quit, if that was the case we would not be having this convo at all. As far as keeping things from players, holy crap I wish they did more at times. It causes the "Sky is falling syndrome" most of the time if anything is said and people don't even give it a chance to see if it's going to be as bad as they think. I love the Jedi class I have been supporting it for a very long time but it is getting harder each day with the new comments made from the newer Jedi... I just can't figure it out...
Hope this clears that all up.

Wow, that's so weird that you bring it up. I just pulled those all out the other day and showed them to my son (3 yrs old). We sat and played for a while and then I very quickly packed them all up and put them away. I had a vivid premonition of StormTroopers with bite marks and dismembered ewoks so I think maybe I'll try again in another year or so.

Very cool. If I could go back to college I would definitely study history instead of CS. CS was great but as an adult I find myself reading and watching history related stuff more and more. I have no idea why it fascinates me so much.
Trajan seems to me like the Roman version of Eisenhower but I'm not versed enough to make the comparison. What's really cool is that Trajan is noted for building (or odering the construction of) the Forum. Get it? Forum?
