Thread: Jedi should get nothing special.

Although, I believe only Pre-9 Jedi should get anything as we unlocked by exploring all the professions, not throwing grenades or spinning lairs, all Pre-CU and Pre-9 Jedi should get something that makes them stronger because they put work in.

all anyone is getting is mostly cosmetic stuff. the whole point of the nge is to make everyone equal. no one will get something that puts them markedly above everyone else, because then we are back to where we started with the never ending nerfage.

I don't think you can say it was "exploring", many people were one profession for a day at most before re-grinding another profession. I do though believe that there should be different rewards depending on how long you have had a Jedi character, but rewards shouldn't be what determines a fight.

Players will get the Elder treatment. All of them regardless of profession. Now, Jedi was a profession that included a certain risk and lots of hard work, they are just trying to compensate that. What would a Robe/Lightsaber/Crystal be good for you? So you can sell it? Because its obvious you dont want to play as a Jedi.... unless you are lying and now that you can respec to a Jedi, you feel its ok to get those items.

I feel robbed of the chance, just like those that bought the Digital Download of Rage of the Wookies, when the retail version would have gotten them the Barc speeder.
If you wanted Jedi you should have been working for it. These rewards help compensate for our grind and getting nerfed down to a regular proffesion and alowing lazy people like yourself to get it for free. Anyone can get Jedi in about 18 weeks. Each phase gave you ample time to grind the xp.

Let's see:
Jedi - Bust your hump during the Holo-grind or Pub10 grind, this could possibly take 6 months or more to finish.
BH - Grind 34 bases for Inv. XP, and spend the next 6 hours shooting pikets in a (Jedi) Spin group. Or my favorite RESPEC into the FOTM BH/SL.
Jedi need all of the loving we can get, and if you don't like the Jedi in the game, no one said you have to pay the $15.00 fee everymonth. BH's are nothing more than big whinny crybabies, nerf the BH/Jedi TEF system cause my target is in ahouse AFK, baa **edit** and get a life. Move along nothing to see.

I agree. Many veterans are upset because they didn't any rewards, but they had the chance to get Jedi and they chose not to.

Too bad, you're getting a profession for free. It's obvious that you were too lazy or didn't want to get Jedi because of the long grind it "took", but oh no! it's now a starting profession - sign me up!

Your one shot? How long have you been playing? Less than 18 weeks? If not youve had time. Every newb who got CL 80 in a week shouldent be able to respec to Jedi in the first place IMO but the current Jedi should be rewarded for enduring quite a big nerf.
